@@frank12363 what makes you think that? Its just a bit odd. Never seen a sports team be transported on a 777 for a domestic flight. Airlines typically use 757s, a320s, and 737s for domestic sports team charter flights. it seems like a strange decision on United's part. ...maybe they had to reposition the plane for another flight anyways, and wanted to kill two birds with one stone. Thats my best guess.
