Chien-Pao ex is the BEST NEW DECK!

Ting Lu sends his regards. I'm really REALLY loving that deck. It does great disrupting setups. Karaidon ex is actually really useful with Ting Lu. Aerodactyl Vstar makes it fun too. I haven't had much luck with rain dance the setup seems too slow against gardy and tina.

I played against one Ting Lu deck with Chien Pao and beat him pretty handily. Knocked out both of his Tings that were equipped with Brave Charm and he scooped. (might have been a strange deck list tho. still new to this version of the game so I couldn't tell)

@@Kuchito08 possibly , I played this matchup like 9 times yesterday and won every single time with ting lu whether i go first or second. Usually spiritomb plus damage counters on bacaliber pre evolutions is enough to win that matchup easily because you can no longer spam energy on board. Chien pao doesnt do enough damage plus discards energy after attacking so it allows you to still keep setting up while applying pressure

I have such a hard time to get this deck to work for me which might be due to my inexperience but... holy hell, the amount of really bad starting hands that I had in the past 10 games is just so frustrating.

what is the purpose of the articuno in the decklist? is it just an ok generic mon to use because I have seen it in a few other decks. a friend introduced me to the game recently and im trying to learn a bit more

Would love to know the answer myself. I guess it's a single prize card that can disrupt a vit with paralysis for only two water? It can bully small basics and some small stage 1's but thats about all I can see

a lot of the top tier decks run few to no switching cards which makes the paralysis incredibly effective against them.

FYI Ive been seeing alot of talk about the top 4 Chien list at Taiwan and various sources keep swapping the Chien 3 and Iono 4. The other 59 are the same but that official image in Japanese shows 3 Chien and idk if it got lost in counting somewhere from the stream but I really dont know if its 3 Chien or 4 Iono and playing it alot that third Chien is HUGE.

Manaphy is also useful for the Kyogre. If they manage to get to a point where the Kyogre is gonna win the game, you're gonna regret not going for the Manaphy just to save one spot
