In this episode I found a long sleeve ruffled dress for $8 from Savers and transformed it into a drop waisted low back cocktail dress to wear on my New York trip :)

Sewing is pretty easy and so much fun, try looking at stuff in charity shops and doing small alterations like taking it in or raising the hem line....it's addictive

I love😍😍😍 it's amazing that you but things at such an inexpensive price and it doesn't hurt when you only wear it one time. My prom dress was $400 and I wore it for a few hours and now it's sitting in a closet. I have made one night garments just like April does and I don't feel bad if I only get one or 2 uses out of them

one tip we use in stiching is to press the fabric and also keep pressing the seams in between, it makes quite a difference
