Saying that the animator spent most of their time for drawing u-20 is such a bad argument. Like just because u-20 is the most hyped scene is not a reason for neglecting the rest to that extent. Of course most Anime put more effort into the best moments but most of the scenes looks like fan made in a slideshow style, or with a stupid amount of CGI. A good example would be AoT. Most of AoT looks good but when the fight comes it crushes with the quality. But they dont neglect the rest but blue lock is just a disapointment. They had the formular but they didnt cooked it.

@@lukastace3154 I think people don't understand what this means. You can't just say "off the ball movement" and suddenly you are invisible to the other person. The defender clearly looked at him. No matter what your off the ball movement looks like, you can't sneak past someone that is looking at you. My best guess is just that this is an error in the anime because in other shots, the defender is actually looking at the ball and not the attacker. But I just don't get how such a simple mistake happens. This isn't a highly animated scene, it's a still shot.
