thanks for the video but I think you left out some important info that some users need to know before they purcahes (or not). I ripped many dvds to my HDs, some left in VOB, some converted to mkv. I need to know if you can swith between audio channels and subtitles. Im saying this because I just returned a box to amazon that doesn't do any of that. You spend time to tell me how the box feels? Im not going to take it to bed. My age old wd tv (discontinued unfortunately) does all that but I needed another box for another room.

Good review. I've got the Tanix TX3 and was thinking about replacing it with something a little easier to navigate. The MXQ looks like it has a better remote which may help with navigation and operation, especially for the wife. Any thoughts on TX3 vs MXQ box? Thanks.

No. I have it and you can't use it. Those are separate TV boxes with different software. Only way is to use internet and watch them through the internet only.

You can sideload kodi using cectus play. Apptoide TV or download the apk, put it on a USB drive and then install it through file manager.

Both great boxes, Mibox will give you 4K streaming in KZbin and Netflix and Minix will give you 480p. If you dont care about 4K/HD Netflix then I recommend Minix as its a much more powerful device.

Do you have to connect this box with a tv cable to watch tv? You can buy these in the Netherlands pre loaded with our no1 tv provider and Kodi. This would be a nice way to have tv in my kids room without running a tv cable to the attic.

Thanks for the video. I got this upgraded version pro+. But the spdif port is not working, there is no red light coming out at all.
