Update: a few days after I posted that reply, I bought Tears of the Kingdom. Now, two months later, my mind has been absolutely consumed by Zelda content. I’ve spent hours upon hours on TotK. I devour Zelink fanfics, scour the internet for Zelink fanart, rave about games in my friends’ DMs. I’ve switched my phone and computer wallpapers to feature cute Zelink art. I’ve made a Zelink playlist that’s almost three hours long. I’ve watched tons and tons of videos to understand past games and the timeline connecting all of them. I think about Zelink all the time. Basically what I’m saying is that I think this animatic permanently altered my brain chemistry, which is probably the biggest compliment I can give
