@@JadenYukifan28 Agreed… when I was young I went for my birthday with my family including my brother who was severely autistic and didn’t speak. He made lots of noises and one man told my mom to “control your kid.” She explained he was autistic and the man said, “I know… control your kid.” I began to cry, as did my mom. The waitress saw us and was shocked and we explained what had happened and she quickly moved us to another table. I hated it when people would be cruel to my brother. I even chased some girl down the hallways of my highschool because she was being disrespectful to my friend’s special needs brother, calling him the R word.

What you and others need is a secret tape recorder/recording device of some kind because you never know when you may actually need it. Just make sure that it has enough storage to record for the entire day (Whether it is just the audio or the audio and video) because you never know when that moment may happen... there was a tie in my life where this would have been very useful. thankfully I was still able to get out of said situation and have a great life now, but recording could have made the process a lot easier.

Why do some people have a discrimination against disabled people? They are humans too …
@geminirose24
@geminirose24 Жыл бұрын
I know, right? It’s just wrong. And it’s not like any of them asked for it to happen. Being born with a disability or developing one because of an illness or an accident is just one thing none of us have any control over. And while it might not make life the easiest for them or the people who spend time with them, they are still people, and they are just as capable of feeling emotions and accomplishing great things like anyone without a disability.

The first time I saw discrimination against someone differently abled I was in 5th grade, she could barely see and a bad stammer and the pupils and teachers were mean. I went home and cried, dad found out what happened and he followed me to school in his army uniform and shouted at the headteacher. He did not even know this kid. Told me it's my responsibility to stand up to bullies. The teachers and pupils never messed with her again, she was my friend for a year before I moved schools

Thank you, Shanel, for challenging the status quo and using your collective powers in that way. Also it's ok to refer to me/us as people with disabilities -- or disabled as the case may be. (I am also disabled too, not just a person with disabilities). It doesn't mean I am unable to do anything or incapable overall (I have plenty of abilities...just means I can't perform as the dominant society expects/demands -- or work gainfully.

This reminds me of a family thing. When they were in preschool, a teacher started shaking them violently due to a speaking disability. Luckily, their mom had come in and seen the situation. The teacher was yelling at my family member to stop stuttering, and had them pinned to a wall. Their mom had not only brought her child back home, but reported the teacher, who was nearing retirement, getting the woman fired and a loss of retirement money.

Me too, I'm. Actually on the spectrum, and I may be in my 30s, but my sister and my father, they took me to a little theme park for my birthday this year. I am now officially 33 years old, but dated everything they could do to let me have a wonderful birthday with my friends. I belong to a neighborhood of people who are special, but we do enjoy our time together. So I love the fact that this way. This waiter did all he could to help the sweet little girl to get her birthday wish. Honestly, I hate. I hate men like that jerk for hurting her, but almost willing her birthday. She deserved to have the best birthday ever. It is known that most children don't get to have that chin, because there are some children in the water are treated badly. I've seen it.

There are too many judgmental jerks in the world. They act as though the unfortunate are somehow unworthy, which somehow seems to absolve Them of having to care. The selfish have created their own little magical world of unreality where they feel superior and "blessed" and, therefore, don't have to care. A rude awakening is just down the road.

At the root of all discrimination is ableism: the idea that "certain others" are subhuman, not perfect enough and not deserving of society's resources. Some people have to deal with multiple intersections. Imagine how this would have gone had the child were also been a person of color. People find all kinds of reasons to be exclusive.

Thanks! This video strikes a chord with me. Prejudice against the handicapped, especially people in wheel chairs is plain wrong. I have personally gone against an international house board that cared more about the beauty of their street hedges than wheel chair access. They had grown out to the street and were even being fined by the city for impeding wheel chair sidewalk traffic. So, I cut them back to uncover a half block of sidewalk, twice. I really feel for the girl in the video. The actor that played the waiter really has a gift with children. THis is the second video where he played a caring adult interacting with a child. I really was especially touched by having the restaurant owner played by Denis Tuchkov. He always plays compassionate, authoritative humanitarian figures on this channel. I was moved to tears by this entire video, especially on how it ended. This was one of the most meaningful video on this channel and I thank DramatizeMe for producing such an excellent statement on prejudice against the handicapped and the people that will take a stand against it.

@@DramatizeMe: here's my theory on what happened after the party. The ex-manager tried to get employment at other restaurants but because of his ableist attitude, his applications were rejected. The waiter moved up the chain and later became a manager. The restaurant did extremely well with the waiter becoming the manager that a second restaurant opened a few months later.

@@theflashgirl2057 I basically write the possibility. Let me ask you this, would you hire a person if you knew he was extremely ableist? There's a lot of companies that are refusing to hire based on the hiring manager's preference whether it be based race, gender, and even on the college the person attended.

Thank you so much for creating this video. As someone living with cerebral palsy, I can relate deeply to the challenges faced by disabled individuals. This video beautifully captures both the difficulties and the moments of kindness that make a world of difference. It’s heartwarming to see how empathy and understanding can transform a difficult situation into something positive. Despite the obstacles, it’s these acts of kindness that give hope and remind us that there are still many good people out there. Your video truly moved me and brought tears to my eyes. It’s a powerful reminder of the importance of treating everyone with dignity and compassion. Thank you for shedding light on this important issue.

I really love this actor and his acting is so realistic I really love to see him in dramatizeme videos. It was all thanks to the waiter that the girl’s birthday party was saved and I really love the ending. But I wish the waiter got what he deserved like being in a higher position because what he did was really amazing and not everyone can be that brave especially nowadays to do what he did. Dear “Alex’s” wherever you are in this world, you are loved. May we find a special place in our hearts for those who are - in the world’s eyes, “disabled” . The manager is the only disabled person here… Alex couldn’t walk, but the manager was missing a heart. How could anyone possibly offend such a sweet person ❤. This is a sweet little girl. How could the manager be like that, it’s hard to imagine that this actually happens to people. All people have feelings and emotions. Bless all those hearts who will make those “disabled” people feel happy and loved in the moment and forget about trials in their lives. ❤ great acting Alex! ❤️🎉👏🏽

The little girl had an instant liking for the waiter for she saw kindness in him and told him she had no friends to attend her birthday party.🤗 The kind waiter even went to the extend of arranging a surprise birthday party for her even though he knew it would jeopardize his career as a waiter in the Restaurant. He was prepared to be fired as long as the little girl is happy to get her best birthday party ever. ❤❤ It's very fortunate that Mr. Jones, the owner saw the conversation between Craig and the Waiter thus he instantly dismissed his services as the Manager of the Restaurant.👍👍 Wow.!! I love this story so much bcoz each and everyone of the actors involved in this storyline did their best to give us such awesome satisfaction from the beginning till the end.!! ❤❤ Thank you *Mr. Gary/Mr Harry and DramatizeMe Team* for your hard work and determination in presenting the best to satisfy your viewers to the max.🙏🙏
