I was watching my g-son at a hotel with a balcony. He went out on the balcony , stood on a chair and was leaning over the rail. I retrieved him and I thanked God he did not fall over. I left the door open, I took my eyes off of him . I thank God for his mercy. I never told his parents. I am much more vigilant and careful. I learned my lesson. My g baby was 5 years old . He is now 11years. To God be the Glory.

Not just on a cruise, but everywhere parents keep your eyes on your children. They don't always have the best judgment.

Lee is so awesome and it just gives me the chills that this is happening for him! We were on the Celebration last late October into early November ‘23. And when they did the questions with Lee, he mentioned that someday he would really like to do this. So it just makes my heart smile that this opportunity has come up for him and we wish him all the best!

9-11-01 I was at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles my then 9 year old son was having a blood transfusion cuz he was on Chemo for cancer… he is now 31❤️

I turned 31 on September 10, 2024. So I assume his birthday is between October - December.

On 9/11 I was at home getting ready for my grandmas funeral. I couldn't believe what was on the tv. It looked like a movie. I visited the 9/11 memorial in New York and its a beautiful remembrance. I'm hoping we'll have time to visit next month when we sail on the Carnival Venezia with cruise director Lee Mason.

We were next door to an aft balcony room with little girls. These little girls were climbing on furniture to see better off the balcony because they were little. No parents anywhere on the balcony. I fussed at them that it was dangerous but if we had hit a wave or something they could have fallen. I still get the creeps every time I think of those unattended little girls.

on 9/11 I was sitting in a classroom crying with students and teachers as we watched a horror movie unfold before us in real life. Never forgotten always remembered. God bless our first responders and troops.

I live in Northern NJ, not far from Manhattan, I can see the skyline from certain areas. My husband is a volunteer firefighter so the loss of not only the civilians, but those 343 firefighters hits me hard. My 3 sons have grown up to also be firefighters and I know that they wouldn't hesitate to run in while others run out.

Thank you so much for remembering. 🇺🇸 It was our oldest's first day of preschool. Had just dropped him off and was sitting down to watch Sesame Street with our 3 year old when I saw the devastation and the 2nd tower come down live. I will never forget those moments and images as long as I live. I was 6 months pregnant with our 3rd at the time. He and his sister, born 2 years later when my husband was fighting overseas to avenge that day, have known nothing else but war and terror. Breaks my heart as much today as it did on that beautiful September morning, as I knew the world and our lives would never be the same. I will pray for the boy's family. So very tragic. 🙏 SO happy for Lee! We sailed with him during that inaugural season on the Celebration. He was wonderful!

Thanks for your video was great as always, and my condolences to the family of that little boy and his friends so sad to hear✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼💔 and I was at work when it happened they came in and they called us into the employee lounge and they had a TV set up. I don’t know where they got the TV from and we were just sitting down and watching it. that’s when they saw the second point going to the building I will never ever ever forget that.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼

I can't even imagine watching all those planes landing and the fear gripping everyone. A high school boyfriend is a Delta pilot. He told me how they all were told to land. He was a fighter pilot in the AF so he was ready to take on anyone but for the safety of the passengers, he sat it down. Kind of a creepy day for them.

I live in California - I was getting ready for work doing my normal morning routine - drinking coffee and watching the news - I watched the towers fall. I went to work in a building overlooking Los Angeles International Airport - they sent us home as they were worried about planes targeting office buildings.

"remembering 9/11"... with all due respect, MANY out there have had "bad things happened" and told to "forget about it".... well, I respect the 9/11 people AND ALL those other who have other kinds of catastrophes. (after all, what percentage of affected people by now have remarried and/or have had other children....?) No disrespect to those affected, just seeing life as it comes down.

Good afternoon Derrick. I was on the Mardi Gras last week and the muster station alarm went off on the morning of the 7th about 1 am-2 am but it was a glitch in the system that caused the alarm to go off It was what they related to us but it was a scary situation. During the alarm the PA system was not working. But other than that the cruise was awesome.

I was at home watching tv a few weeks before starting college. My mom was getting ready for work and just as she sat on the arm of the recliner to watch a few minutes of what I was watching, the channel I was on switched over to CNN. At first we thought that she had turned on a movie or something on but we changed the actual channel to CNN and it was the same thing so we knew that it was real

I can't forget 9/11. It happened two days before my birthday. I was sleeping and woke up to my home phone and cell phones ringing off the hook, to turn on my tv.

So sad about the 12 year old. I'm on the west coast & on 9/11 I got ready for work without listening to any media so didn't know until I was in my car with the radio tuned to news/traffic. That morning is permanently etched in my mind.

I was booked on the Vista sailing that was supposed to be going on right now and the morning of the day they sent out a cancellation notice my travel agent had received an update from Carnival saying that everything was working as expected and there would be no issues with my cruise, and literally a few hours later the cancellation notice came out so I can't put any stock on any updates coming directly from Carnival.

Sadly the parents wish they had an interior cabin. Then again would something else of happened. Sometimes I wonder about God's plan
