Yeah, I can't stand Judge Lake some times. I watch her show, I like it most times, but I can't stand when Judge Lake tells men who aren't the biological father and was lied to and manipulated by the mother and such that they should "step up and be a father to the child/children" when it is not their responsibility. The guilt she tries to lay on them in my opinion is ridiculous. It's one thing if he has been raising the child like his for years and then decides to walk out... yeah okay that's when I think he should stay and be responsible for the child. But babies and toddlers? Nope. If they don't want to get attached to a child they found out is not theirs, I'm not going to moan about that and I think it's not right that Judge Lake encourages it anyway.
@nicolette1002 жыл бұрын
@@katherineduke3232 She does not do that. If he was found to NOT be the biological father but HE DID sign the birth certificate he is LEGALLY the father and he has to pay until the can get that corrected depending on the state they reside in.

@@nicolette100dont know what show you watch. Judge Lake ABSOLUTELY encourages victims of paternity fraud to take care of the child after finding out it's not theirs. @sydneyhoney9 ай бұрын
@@lamargordon6017to be fair, the state of paternity varies from state to state. i know that in texas it most definitely matters if you’re the bio dad or not. regardless if you’ve signed the birth certificate or not. you absolutely MUST be the father according to DNA results when it comes to paying child support in texas. although im not sure where exactly judge lakes court is based. but like i said, the laws vary from state to state when it comes to child support and visitation rights.

Whether it was part time as a cashier, working a pole at a gay club, being a business owner (he did say he owned a business), or even being a drug dealer, he had money somehow. I'm in Texas too and when my son was 5 my son's biological donor (not a mother by any means now) abandoned him for the simple fact that the judge awarded my Conservatorship and she was forced to pay child support. He's 23 now and we have yet to see ANY action taken towards her. She has never even seen him once since then or reached out. She's never spent a day in jail or paid a single dollar and owes me over $43,000. Maybe if back in the day we had to stand before Judge Von B things would have been different...but then again, there's only so much a judge can do. It's no easier for a man to raise a child by themselves than it is a woman to raise one so shout out to all the stand-up parents out there handling their business by every means necessary and Judge Von B callin' it like it is.

I've learned something new about back child support. Didn't know the custodian parent can ask for back support. Judge you've taught me something today
@dodybenfer6255 жыл бұрын
You can ask for anything you want. it doesnt mean you will get a judge to agree with what you asked for, but if you dont ask at the time of the court hearings and decree being written up, they oftentimes wont let you go back later to ask then.

you should request a child support order to be placed. if for no other reason it gives a child the opportunity to think of the payer with more respect for helping to have a little more. you might be surprised how much children base thei own little judgements on what a parent gives as money

I cant get over the fact that a woman would just give up her child, and this woman seems so detached from the whole situation. It honestly blows my mind. I could never give up my child, she is 12 now and I sometimes need to go take a breath, but never could I imagine just giving her up. 👩👧

The mother thought it through. Dad doesn't have a job, so the amt of child support she would get if she had custody, was too low for her. She gave the child to his Dad and walked away.

Mannnn I need to go see u!!!! I've raised my son alone for almost 14yrs. Even with child support enforcement involved we've barely gotten a handful of payments. He's never been held accountable. Now they've thrown all his back owed child support to the tune of atleast 100k Down the drain! And stopped his payments because he went to jail. Us single parents really get the shaft!

I cannot believe how many mothers walk away from their children leave their other half to raise them, or give them to their parents. And it’s so shameful.
@ThatHomelessScrubbalo Жыл бұрын
it is shameful. And whats worse is that women think they can do it but fathers cant. Thats why i like this judge...
@brianna735910 ай бұрын
That statement goes both ways. Women and men both up and leave their children for their other half’s to deal with it and think they don’t have to pay until they’re brought to child support. Judge Vonda is extremely considerate and fair in every case there is and doesn’t put up with any pettiest meanwhile any other judge will make you pay a ridiculous amount or not grant you much custody of your children even if you’re the primary caretaker out of pettiness.
@lisapolk93912 жыл бұрын
Absolutely despicable she is not even concerned about how the child will feel as he grows up about a Mother who wants nothing to do with him. Prime example of what can bring out ugliness in a child as an adult of wanting a Mothers love and more.

Judge Vonda, I think she's fantastic ! She's very to the point, no nonsense attitude for men and women. She judges fairly and is always looking out for the best interest for the child/children, their health and welfare. I applaud her. I think she's great ! The father in this case, you could see the pain in his face that he was able to provide for his son the way he needed and wanted to, and the mother's attitude, unbelievable. She looked like she didn't care until the judge told her how much she was gonna have to pay, her eyes I thought her head was gonna pop off in anger. She should help with child support, it's her son too even if she doesn't have anything to do with the child. I empathize with the dad and the child.
