Bianca Lives In Hot Topic women can get the epidural (I think it is) which is injected into the spine and numbs the whole lower torso and legs so that they can't feel the pain any more. Unfortunately they can't feel anything at all and can't feel the contractions either so have to rely on the nurses to tell them when to push
