Yay I'm so glad to hear this Helen!! It felt so good to make a beautiful mess and immerse myself into something and then snap these photos, even though it was getting dark and the light was so blue I think the photos came out pretty nice :))

I loved your final message, because yes, we all don't have an "instagram" worthy home and that's okay! This is something I need to remind myself of constantly because I'd love to take photos out on the streets and I always blame the lack of safety out there, but that shouldn't stop me from creating beautiful photos at the comfort and safety of my home! I can't wait to show you what I've come up with! (and to see what other lovely creatives have created).

Yes You got this! I still sometimes think that I don't have nice surroundings and can't so the photos I want to, but ususally if you just get started you'll be able to find at least a little spot where the light is nice and then by refurnishing your house or gatehring some nice materials or textiles you'll be surprised at the results! :)

Thank you for this 💖✨ I struggle with having low light and a not very pretty place, and your words are so true! Just gather the pretty things around you, flatlays are the best and easiest way to do that 😊 It was also interesting to see your editing process and bts, hopefully you'll include them in your next challenge videos as well ❤️

I am from Australia so it was Midnight when this was released. Naturally I stayed up waiting to see what ideas I could dream up in my sleep. 🧡 I can not wait to see everyone’s creations through this entire serious of a challenge. Great video!! In my childhood I also loved to draw/paint. I also loved to collect bookmarks that I swapped with my friends. Music has also always been a big part in my life.... I just can not come up with any idea how to get this into a photo lol. :) Maybe I will just watch on everyone elses creative photos instead! Well I did take a photo... But I am not so good at this I think... :( lol At least I tried!

А few months ago I took similar photos, again inspired by your work. I just took everything that I have for drawing and painting and my camera and made some good shots. I will definitely think of something new, because I like to challenge myself and the pleasure when you've created something beautiful is indescribable. I really want to take part in this photo challenge, and I do have quite a lot light hours a day (compare to you) and I have enough space indoors and outdoor but my problem is free time 😕 I have a full time job (working from home) plus 2 children (3rd lockdown 😖) and I can’t imagine spending time on such activity 😞

Hi! I just used acrylic paints that you can get at the craft store. You could also use body paint which is pecifically mean to be used on the skin, I'd recommend using that if you were going to use it on your face for example just to avoid any potential allergic reactions. My skin isn't so senstitive and this worked fine and I just washed it off with water at the end ☺️
