I miss being a kid, being a true kid. I miss my elementary friends. I miss secrectly whispering when the teacher left the room. I miss making duct tape wallets, trading silly bands, and spinning rulers on top of pencils. I miss playing tag on the playground, having contests to see who could swing the highest. I miss when the only stressful thing were time test. I miss Valentine day parties. I miss the feeling of last day of school, the pure joy that filled out hearts on that day as we played games. I miss doing silly stuff with friends. I miss getting let out early for lunch. I miss trading lunches and talking about our plans for the playground. I miss kickball tournaments, dodgeball, and capture the flag. I miss my innocence, the faith I had in my teachers to protect me. I miss when teachers were cool if they handed out candy. I miss the Halloween parties where we would trade candy and wear vampire teeth. I miss when being popular meant you could to the fast rap parts of certain songs, when dating meant you shared school supplies and held hands, when the worries of the world couldn't even come near you. I miss searching pictures of puppies and secrectly playing Club Penguin in computer class. I miss when test were open book, when the word failing didn't even exist. When school shootings were a thing you hear about in the movies. When depression, suicide, and drugs were all words too big for you to pronounce. When we thought high schoolers were cool and we couldn't wait to be one. I miss it, I miss my childhood...

This brought me back, back when times were easy, simple. I'm still a kid, but I'm growing up to fast and don't know when I will be an adult. When I was younger I have always dreamed of being in middle school. But now I was I could go back, To the lunch table with all my friends, eat my lunch able, Not a worry in the world. Now I worry its to late. As Andy said from the Show the Office "I wish you could know your in the good old days before you left them." I wanna be happy but I just feel empty. My memories over flow with shows and things friends. Its to much to handle. I know I'm still a kid but I want to go back, relive my past years, Before Corona and make more memories, treat is as it was my last years to live. This music triggered all of this emotion. My 12 year old brain is filled with memories that make me cry. All I want to say I thank you, Thank you for this, Right now I'm on Minecraft 30 Minutes in on a school zoom. When we were younger we all were so excited for highschool/middle school or just growing up but...it’s not all that exciting... and my favorite memory is just running around the apparatus in elementary school and playing freeze tag and there were two teams and just it was so fun. We were nearing the end of fifth grade and our field trip got canceled so they let us stay outside and play the whole day and we played freeze tag and god it was so fun. And just Gravity Falls hit different for me.

I'm nostalgic for those days when I would finish school at 4pm and watch gulli or Disney Channel. That time when the thing that worried me was not having done my homework. Everything is so far away... That time when Christmas night was the longest night until the morning when we opened our presents in euphoria. I'm at a point in my life where stress, anxiety and nervousness are my daily life. I am someone who almost never writes in commentary but the first music reminds me of the child I was, with this joy of living, which is almost extinguished at the present time. Today life seems so hard, unfair. You know when I was a kid I wanted to be a grown up to know what it was like, my mother told me that being a kid was great and today I understand her... I miss my best part of my life. I miss this show.(sometimes not existing) I didn't have to deal with this stress I have now. (Demons, depression, two friends) I miss my good life. Having sleepovers watching this show when it came out. Celebrating my birthday in our Halloween costumes because my birthday was on Halloween. I still have my same friends. We did costumes together. Everyone has that kind of childhood feeling, they feel like they don't want to grow up, they wanted to stay as a kid, but everyone has to move on somehow. You can't stay where you are every time. Focus on the future, not the past. You can still enjoy your future, everyone has to grow up, you can't stay young too long. I miss my childhood but I have to move on because that is how life works.

I have never had this feeling, a mix of sadness and nostalgia. This is what art is. I remember loading up Minecraft with my cousin on the 360. Me and him made the walking dead seasons one to four to exact replica in Minecraft. We lost that Xbox for a while but stumbled apon it a few days ago. He said he won’t open it and turn it on until I come over. Let’s just hope it’s luck on our side
