Literally every piece of his work is so distinct and true to himself but also like he said, he’s great at creating this “moment” for us/the audience. Man I’ve really grown up with this guy. I was in middle-high school when community was coming out and childish gambino was popping. Still remember hearing New Prince on the ground and Unnecessary and thinking we’d never hear from him again after 3.15.20. He really shaped my generation and gave me a perspective I’ve carried with me through life. Going to see him in September and I’m just so happy to see how happy he is and how he’s evolved so beautifully while honoring each and every part of who he was and who we loved watching ‘grow ip’ .
