Thank you for your message. It is so rough to work at such a vulnerable time in someone's life

4 months have passes since we lost 1 of our parents . I have a 7 year old sibling with me (being 14 myself) . She often comes to me and cries a lot and asks a lot of questions . My remaining parent told me not to tell her "directly" about his "death" but rather tell her something like "he has gone to a place far far away from where he will never come back"

My six year old daughter lost her daddy when she was five and a year later I can tell you she is still very much grieving. I told her since the beginning that daddy died and that unfortunately he couldn’t come back. It was really tough at the beginning because she couldn’t understand why us? I also explained to her that all of us die and all living things die and this was something that resonated with her a little, there are some kid’s books about death and they can be helpful too. Please talk to your little sister and tell her daddy us in heaven and that she can talk to him and tell him how much she loves him and misses him. This belief has also helped my kid. Big hugs to you and your sister! I can tell you are strong. It will get better ❤️‍🩹
