Well job man! Practise and desire are power things ) I still trying to learn the solo, but i can't play it (solo i mean) in original speed, only in 75% of original speed, it's about 142 bpm. Sometimes i think that my fingers can't moving faster and this fact makes me sad. RIP Alexi Laiho. This fact destroyed me Because of this legend I've wanted to play on electric guitar and still love this instrument and still love listening Children of Bodom songs. So sad. He will always be in my memory.

Yes he was a real guitar machine... we will miss him forever and his tunes will be with us... and keep practising and slow speed and try to relax your hands while practicing don’t use extra power in fretting hand, press the string to the point it don’t make buzz, and for right hand keep it relaxed... it really helps... cheers...\m/...

Alexi plays... I'm sorry "played" :( ... this intro by alternate picking. I tried playing it by downstroke, but it doesn't sound normal in downstroke and it's hard for right hand. And watch my 1st tense, it's played by alternate picking.

Actually the keyboard plays the higher notes, it blends so well with the lower notes of the guitar that you think the higher notes are the "real" melody. Don't worry I thought the same for years.

man I got such problems playing the intro clean and fast. and that I dont understand what my problem is make me crazy. I practice it slow on 75% with GP nearly perfectly but as soon as I speed up it gets sloppy

Yes you might find it difficult because it encounters inside the string picking… its when you are alternate picking and your pick is trapped inside… try some economy picking exercise, believe me it works somehow… best of luck…
