I just love these guys, I could listen to this all day. Please don't ever stop working together because it's really the only way for relatively new fans (like me, got into CoB you after Alexi's passing) to feel engaged and connected to the band. I didn't have a chance to see you live and I will regret it forever but fortunetely there are videos like this one that really make me feel that the band is still there. Currently I'm looking forward to visiting Bodom Bar (and Finland for the first time). And waiting for the book guys, I hope there will be also Polish release! Anyway, keep it on, idols! \w/

So great to see you guys together. I really hope you get together again and do one big final show, with the people and bands that are inspired by COB's music and just as a tribute to Alexi. I think he did deserve a more appropriate goodbye. When a band member passes away, the remaining members usually do this and I think Alexi's influence on metal music and guitar world wasn't any less than people like Taylor Hawkins. I remember when he passed away Foo Fighters did a bunch of shows as tribute. Or Slipkont dedicated some shows to Joey and Paul Gray. Alexi inspired so many people to pick up and learn guitar. He deserves something big.

Well, guys said once before something like that they don't imagine COB without Aleksi. Let's other bands, artists play, but not them together without him. So...
@seelentau Жыл бұрын
The difference is that when Alexi passed, CoB was already over. So no point in tribute shows.
@helgiyoshyolenko4721 Жыл бұрын
@@seelentau tribute is when the band does not exist, and someone else pay that tribute. Pretty true about COB, they do not exist as a music band. But the question is who should play the show. So, these three (Jaska, Janne and Henkka) said that they can't do that. End of *** story. Although I might say that they organise another form of tribute - and for many of fans it looks like just making money, right. But wait, what about new fans who couldn't follow the band when it was active and Aleksi was alive? They also want some fan shit like merch, CD's, posters and so on. So as for me they do what is possible without involving into impossible (for them) stuff. End of... you know, yeah. :)

As much as i would love that, 1: Obviously wouldn't be the same even though it would be very nostalgic, 2: Apparently Roope hasn't been dong good for the longest time, started during his final months with Bodom and in the last update I heared about him the news of Alexi passing away was devastating for him... we can only hope he's doing a bit better nowadays but since he stopped playing the guitar since the moment he wasn't in Bodom anymore (as far as i know) I'm afraid we sadly wont see him on any stage anytime soon.

When he passed i was like damn ill never never see them again and Janne was praising us for being so hyped up the day after St Patricks day lol. For headlining they played a short set and Alexi didnt look in good shape. I can't believe it's been nearly 4 years since Alexi's death. It still greatly upsets me when I think of his passing. Alcoholism is something people should take very seriously. He always used to say that he would always refuse a liver transplant if one came up for him as he said that he didn't deserve it, and that it should go to someone who didn't selfishly waste their time drinking their life away like he did ever since he was young. Alexi stuck to his word and faced the consequences that he created from his actions. Everybody truly tried to help him, but he never helped himself. You can see the pain due to loss and the anger on Janne's face when he talks about Alexi as they truly were brothers. It's not easy dealing with someone who is an addict.
