Reaper ;) cheap n good
@bodombeachterror6663 жыл бұрын
I used to use Reaper all the time, but it's too limited for me these days in comparison. But it has the advantage that it always works
@emilpartsch2833 жыл бұрын
Then Studio One and Cubase are very good, though expensive
@-Zbrozlo-3 жыл бұрын
@@bodombeachterror666 what do you mean it's too limited?
@bodombeachterror6663 жыл бұрын
@@-Zbrozlo- Reaper's feature set is simply smaller. There are a few things that I use relatively often in Audition. For example, the Center Chanel Extractor, which is not available in Reaper, or all the noise reductions in Audition. What I also use a lot is the spectrogram. Audition is pretty big in terms of effects but ithas the same problem as Lightroom. If there are too many tracks open, no matter how strong your computer is, it just jerks. I think I'm going to switch back to Cubase. I used to have that for a few months.

Quick question: does your mm04/je1000 work without battery given that you turn the boost off? Cheers 😄
@bodombeachterror6663 жыл бұрын
Nope, without the battery the je1000 doesn’t work. I’m not sure about the pickup, which is passiv but connected to the boost
@bodombeachterror6663 жыл бұрын
Uh, what? I misunderstood you :D if I turn off the gain boost, the battery is still on. In fact, I can’t really turn off the je1000. The wah-tone is always on. It’s just the gain post itself which can be turned off
@emilpartsch2833 жыл бұрын
@@bodombeachterror666 thx! curious. I have a je clone that works without battery when i disable the boost part. The eq is purely passive so with no boost it would make sense that Sound comes through when the boost isnt needed. Guess not all are set up like that 🤔
@emilpartsch2833 жыл бұрын
@@bodombeachterror666 np! So your battery is always running, even if the gain part is off and only eq is on. Fair, but odd in a Way when the eq is passive 😄
@bodombeachterror6663 жыл бұрын
@@emilpartsch283 I honestly have no idea. How do you know the battery is off when the gain boost is off? It's also possible that you're right. I have never thought about it. :D
