Children's Cancer Story: Meet Finlay, Age 3 (Hepatoblastoma)

Three year old Finlay Higgs was diagnosed with Hepatoblastoma, a rare form of childhood liver cancer, at just 18 months of age. Since then, he’s spent a large chunk of his life in hospital undergoing a long list of treatments and procedures that are painful but necessary to keep him alive.

Our son was diagnosed with this at aged two with a 17cm tumour in his liver in 1988. Spent the next 10 months in hospital without going home. The whole treatment lasted about 3 years. He’s now 38 year old. Tough times for anyone. Great to see is enjoying life.

It's a great motivation for me. My son is has also being diagnosed with hepatoblastoma here in PNG.his currently undergoing treatment. I pray every day to one day wake up and see him like any normal child. Thanks for this Great video.givea me hope

I had hepatoblastoma at 3 months old. Several rounds of chemo and surgery. I'm now 23 years old, studying for my masters degree. Cancer-free, healthy, happy and living life. My parents are now doing really well too after such a traumatic time. Don't give up hope, keep fighting
