ive been flightsiming since i was 6 cause i liked planed i knew my dad was a pilot but something was in my veins that i knew i wanted to be atc or pilot. Now that im almost 20 ive mastered all airbuses and boeing crafts and atc skills

Yes, he idled too early but that’s ok. This is a simulator, it’s meant to practice procedures. It’ll never have the same feel of a real airplane. Kid did a great job!👌🏼

did you mean landing flare? if so, it depends on the air speed when flaring too, you can cut of the engine to flare earlier if your air speed is higher than normal. His father is a pilot and I think we just need to enjoy the video rather than giving the kids complains.

@@squirrelhallowino29 You don’t even have to be 16 in some places. In my country (USA) I can take flight lessons at pretty much any age, just can’t get a license until 16 (or 17 in some regions)

No panicking and great job first a first time! Little high, throttle was set idle little early and aggressively and the flare was minimal. Of course I’m not criticising just giving some feedback 👍

Same thing if i sat you in a Simulator right now and kept berating you about how you don't know SOP's and Airbus Philosophy and can't tell me how every system works and how a circuit breaker Panel is called, because you obviously simply wouldn't know without proper instruction and doing a course. The flare was actually very good. The touchdown was firm because he idled too early (normally you'd do it when the plane calls you a retard ;-) ). For a first tentative, most people, also adults flare too much and start pilot induced oscillations. Also many end up quite on the left side of the runway. He was pretty much centerline and had a very stable approach.
