School furniture! Ojalá se le diera la cobertura que merece está compañía, sería ideal que los colegios participarán reciclando estos plásticos para ayudar en la fabricación de muebles para colegios, mesas para comedores, etc. bravo!!

Honestly my big question is how it holds up to extended UV exposure and wear; It could be a real source of microplastics otherwise. But I suppose they've been making deck chairs and things out of them for a while now.

We must say openly to each other the things we hold in our hearts and that too often are said only behind closed doors. There must be a sustained effort to listen to each other; to learn from each other; to respect one another; and to seek common ground. As the Holy Koran tells us, "Be conscious of God and speak always the truth." That is what I will try to do today -- to speak the truth as best I can, humbled by the task before us, and firm in my belief that the interests we share as human beings are far more powerful than the forces that drive us apart. These are not just United Nations | الأمـــــمُ المتّـحــــدَة ideas, they are human rights. And that is why we will support them everywhere. Thank you. And May God's peace 🌏 be upon you all. Thank you. 🌎

I looked at doing the same in the UK already but the Gov said NO. Also cutting the trees is NOT a problem as long as you replace them as using them to build with is stored CO2 out of the air and you replant more trees so get rid of more CO2 from the air we all have to breath.
@SutchiroPete2 жыл бұрын
1) Should we assume the UK government said no because they are happy with continued plastic pollution and landfilling with plastic or there was another problem with your business plan? 2) true, building with wood is using carbon stored by the tree. The problems are, as soon as you cut the tree you have removed that carbon storing system and planting a new seedling will not begin to replace the carbon storing ability of an older tree for many years. (Think 300 leaves carbon absorbing ability vs. 300,000 leaves ability each year). We need to both plant lots of trees to replace the billions that have already been cut and not replaced AND stop the flow of plastic into our environment.

Use it to build new houses for everyone. Not just first world countries but for the second world and third world. We live in a world where we don't understand what we consume let alone where the debris ends up.
@Exilia22 жыл бұрын
Sound like a good idea, now we have to think on the amount of energy used for turning the plastic to recycled materials, it would be good to find a way to avoid plastic from the beginning... Glass is more expensive but doesn't contaminate, another idea would be buy food loose, without plastic wrapping, like 100 years ago...
@SutchiroPete2 жыл бұрын
Putting a price on carbon is a simple way to get companies to think about these costs and implement ways to bring them down. Business loves predictability and knowing what will save them the most money.

This can be save mother nature,no more cut tree's for chair's,table's,and wood's use for house ...
@logicalhuman0072 жыл бұрын
Western countries are main reason for deforestation because they use lot more wood for construction of houses unlike eastern countries . irony is they waste more wood for coffins (there are alternatives which are environment friendly like mushroom coffines, alkaline hydrolyis tree pod burials, artificial reefs with human remains) and christmas trees. Instead if they use recycled plastic like above. May be deforestation in brazil or austrailia wouldn't have occured.

Ooh good point!!! Even if these are UV resistant, how would you capture all the sawdust created during construction and prevent it from getting into the environment...including your lungs. It may not be any worse than wood sawdust in your lungs but certainly isn't sawdust you could compost.

I dont really think a long term use for plastics while the earth heats to put in a building is actually gonna be safe. It may start off good but long term um yea from hot to cold plastic no matter how tough will warp and change over time. So yea good luck that. That's accident just waiting to happen

@@BrutallHawk not really. Depends on climate changing heating and cooling off are not starting to stretch limits. Not saying you cant use them for parts of the house mean more towards studs and strengthening posts. It would probably be better for roads and walkways and skateboards and stuff like that
