Greetings Catherine, I can’t thank you enough for the recipes that I have followed so far. I just finished this Mac and cheese soup and it’s delicious! You are truly helping me in the kitchen that I have found myself in. This is the type of dishes that I grew up with and my Lovely beautiful Wife would make. I made this for lunch, and it was very good. The only problem was that the cheddar cheese stuck to our spoons. After eating all of this soup I decided to change it up a bit. Instead of using the canned green chili's I used some of my roasted Poblano's. That really changed it up a notch. Then on the cheddar cheese I used the Campbell's cheddar cheese in the can. I also used 2 cans, because 1 can didn't quite give it the cheesy taste I was looking for. Thanks for this recipe, because it is one that you can suit to your taste. Love it a lot!

I love soup! This looks super tasty! Unfortunately (fortunately?) I live in Northern California right by San Francisco and it’s sunny and 60 degrees for 90% of winter here. Gas may be $5 a gallon but the weather is nice 😂

Catherine please answer can I use a box of chicken broth and can chili thank u ; your looked wonderful and ready to eat?? Where I live here in Tn a small town at 5:o2 am it was 49 degrees but the evening get up in the 80' s?!

How much different please answer; just thinking guess it would; just this mrñg early I saw mr food on the tv he was making the chili Mac- cheese what he did different was boil the noodles then put in a 9_13 baking dish then chedder cheese on the top of the noodles then the seasoning he mix up on the top then added more chedder cheese then baked at 350 think he said either 35 r 40 mins but he never gives the amount of the seasoning

48 degrees at 11:33. Already made me a green chili concoction. Yum! Close to yours but no pasta.Added a can of Stokes green chili to it. Low carb :) Turned out pretty good! Have a Blessed day!

Love this soup and your variations. I make it right up to adding the pasta. Put it in the fridge and after church just heat add pasta, with a side salad, toasted garlic bread and one of your amazing poke cakes, Sunday lunch ! We've always had extra cheese and sour cream to put on top

That looks yummy! Funny story, Hatch green chilies are our favorite. There was a street vendor selling what I thought was a pound or 1 1/2 pounds of roasted chilies. I bought a bag. Turned out it was 6 pounds! Good thing they freeze well

I live in North Florida. It is beautiful here. The temp. is about 80, the sun is shining and there is a light breeze. Every morning, we wake up to 60 degrees and lately, it only get's up to 80 or 85. There is a cold front coming this weekend so will be chilly by Sunday. Soup will be a wonderful treat. Thank you so much.

Cumin adds a warmth do the dish, but I wouldn't call it hot.

Catherine I have a problem with noodles when cooked in with a meal like this. I love to have enough for leftovers but when reheating the noodles they are over cooked and falling apart. How long should I cook the noodles for to avoid this. My thanks to you

Just cook the pasta to al dente so about 15 to 20 minutes depending on the type of pasta.
