3 Hours of Old Azeroth Lore to Relax to

Just so people know how I make my videos. I do use ChatGPT to help generate my scripts. I'll ask it to rewrite the wiki and then from there I read it and figure out if i need to re-write it, or keep it or just come up with something totally new. I reference the books that i own as well to help out to ensure I get info as correct as possible, but without ChatGPT I wouldn't be able to get the videos done at all due to my own analysis paralysis which I've dealt with since I was a kid. After that I'll record the narration and edit that down then do the actual edit of the video which usually entails hopping into the game to get the various footage that is shown or I go and grab pics from the wiki or cut scenes that I may not have due to not having been able to see them myself in game. I'll edit it all together from there which usually is about a week, but sometimes longer due to the video being more in depth along with my work schedule. Thanks for making such an amazing and in depth video on WoW lore. I love how this is layed out and it brought up so many memories of playing but also tied up some gaps in my game knowledge. I miss WoW so much. I haven’t played since Mists came out because life got busy and I know a lot has changed since that time. I’m kind of intimidated to jump back into it and not be as good as I used to. I have so many great memories with this game, I spent many high school summer nights just hunched over my desktop in the air conditioning raiding with my guild until 4AM. watching this resparks that same love and fondness I’ve always had for WoW. Thank you so much. I think this will be an amazing refresher for me personally.

WoW is one of those games I could never truly quit, I'd take breaks for a couple months or something, but I'd always come back and start playing whether a lot or a little. I'm glad that my video brought back good memories for yah and might get you back into the game. There is a lot of lore and new stuff going on, but end of the day it is just a fun game to play I think. So many things for someone to do. It is well structured and chronological in a way that makes sense unlike many other videos attempting to explain the story line and creating a jumbled mess. I wouldn’t be opposed to doing something in the future by trying to follow the main story of wow in one big video, but that would be a big pain in the butt and a lot of time that I don’t have currently lol

As for your little talk about how Sargeras survived the fel explosion when destroying that prison world at the 58:36. Well, maybe he was just so badass he just tanked it, and with that for some reason i imagine him goin (Well, you know what they say, what doesn't kill you, only makes you stronger) and then shlurps down that Fel energy like one NASTILY Strong and potent Protein shake in one gulp. Part of the reason things get confusing is because you are going off of chronicles. Chronicles is not what actually happened. It is what the titans said what happened. It’s just their perspective, and in my opinion I believe they wrote that to persuade beings to their cause

Not really, but I have been looking at making either a video series with more chronological order and what not, but just don't have the time at the moment and still working through the zone lore videos. but i'd probably go with this video first since it covers the beginning of the world and the crafting of it then probably look at the BC zone lore, then the Northrend Lore probably. If you would like characters who were around from the early times then Alleria and Vereesa are good ones to watch since they have been around for many years

Originally I used Vegas Movie Studio, but i changed to DaVinci Resolve in the last year or 2, Vegas kept crashing on me and eventually I got use to it and just learned to save A LOT, but DaVinci is free and white i have had crashes here and there, I think it is mostly cause my computer is older and has issues at times using the program. Hoping that when I upgrade my computer in the future I can fix the crashing issues, but we will see whenever that happens.

@@azralag90 It can be overwhelming at first, but after sometime its easy. I wouldn't say it is the most intuitive, but it is pretty powerful. Just have to be sure your computer can handle it.

A lot of wiki reading plus the chronicles book to confirm what I'm reading plus trying to run various things within the game to see what it says within the game. I use AI to help me re-write the wiki and such, but I read through it and edit it from there and and then try to confirm as much as I can with the books I have and then confirming whether in-game or going through the wiki and seeing If I can find the confirmation for stuff. It is a bit time consuming especially with my work schedule lol

I usually boost my own volume all to the same level. When I record it is pretty quiet so I boost it a bit depending on the circumstance. My volume stays the same throughout the video, but sadly I can’t control the ads volume. Figured boosting my voice audio would make it to where you don’t need to have it so loud so not sure. Glad you enjoyed it overall though.

I love this channel mostly because of the voice (or voices? Is it multiple guys or just one guy clipping in additions with different mic settings? anyway…). But I think this channel really, REALLY needs someone to listen to these and send back required pronunciation edits. I honestly don’t know how you can be the slightest amount of interested in the topic and not know how to pronounce the words involved, let alone interested enough to make a KZbin channel and put content out with regular addition… I realize some will think mispronunciations are minor, and certainly not worth throwing a fit about, but to some of us it’s almost literally like nail on a chalkboard. For instance, the j in Valarjar is pronounced as a y. To hear it pronounced as ValarJar is really quite … yarring. It’s been enough to make me stop listening at times 😞 However, if the channel needs someone to help fix the problems in either already-published videos, or for future pieces, I would do it for whatever the channel offered as pay; including even for no pay, at first, since the channel is still small. I understand a non-disclosure _might_ be requested, and I would be willing to sign one blanket contract saying I wouldn’t disclose anything about anything related to your channel. You could just add me to credits in the description to the videos I helped on. Good enough for me, for now.

It’s just me, don’t have anyone else work on the videos. As far as the pronouncing of the words I try and find the pronunciations either within the game or wiki but can’t always find them then I’ll just look up “how to pronounce” whatever I need to pronounce and do my best with what I got. As far as the Valajar I swear that’s how he prounouced it within the game so I just said it like that but maybe I misheard him. Sorry my pronouncing can be pants sometimes, I do what I can with what I got, but I ain’t perfect. I’ve sometimes gone back and re-recorded and added in fixed audio if enough people are bugged by it or if I noticed it after the upload or something. In the future I’ll try to research more on the pronunciations of the names and such but I only have so much time to devote to these videos with working full time and only having a few hours a day during the week after work.Thanks for taking the time to check out the video and hopefully you check out the rest of the videos and I hope that the bad pronunciation of the names doesn’t put you off the to the channel entirely but I’d understand if it does.
