@@PramithaMahanama In my opinion, she is not fluent in English and even the interviewer makes many mistakes. How could she be a scientist? Why is she unable to speak even though she lived in so called America? This has become a great issue within the whole cinema industry in SL.

@@haileyyulya4865 what's the link between English and being a scientist? And why do you say it has become an issue in Sri Lankan cinema? What has English got to do with Sri Lankan cinema? She is a very talented actress, a very pretty girl as well as an educated person.. English is just a language like any other which we use to communicate. If she is not fluent in Sinhala being a Sri Lankan then its questionable but even that is up to her to learn or speak or not to. Who are we to judge another person? Sorry for jumping in when the question was directed to the interviewer but i think its ridiculous and quite pathetic when people judge others unnecessarily like this. Sorry if my english is also not up to your expected standards but as long as it conveys my opinion am a happy soul. Cheers.

@@rossannaruberu7753 Dear friend, first and foremost I would like to convey to you that the question is raised to the interviewer. Intelligence should be emphasised through actions, not from explanations which is ridiculous and hilarious. It is obvious that she is lucky enough in order to atleast have the ability to speak Sinhala. Scientific knowledge of a SCIENTIST can be clearly identified within the individuals based on the way they deal with the society through wisdom. Science in America is not taught in Sinhala. Lack of knowledge of a linking language has become a great issue in SL as local cinema has been restricted to be opened to the world and to be accepted internationally unlike few attempts as Yohani did. This situation is both pathetic and harsh in today's world. If you master your mindset, you will realise that I do not judge a book by its cover because the outer covering might be pretty and scientific but the content might be hilarious as some actresses.

@@haileyyulya4865 Sri Lankan movies/ actors and actresses have already won many awards and recognition internationally despite the fact that they are done in Sinhalese and we do have great potential in doing so in the future as well. Im so glad that they do not think like you and respect each other's culture, language etc rather than looking at everything in a one track mindset but appreciate each individual's talent.
