The thing that makes the Dan A3 so good is that it fits a Matx Board. Thats the number 1 selling point..I've built many itx systems and they are always a pain when conecting things to the board. This was so easy to build in. Also matx has more NVME slots and costs less with better vrms and vrm cooling.

I just build the case and mostly love it! I would have preferred an optimized sfx mounting bracket. I filled all the fan slots and the pc is absolutely quiet and cool. The price just makes it an amazing Deal.

I've experienced the same thing... a split intake and exhaust in the top helps with CPU air coolers in some instances. I've found in many cases eliminating the top fans completely is sometimes better than fully populating with exhaust fans only.
@ChillBuilds3 ай бұрын
This is why i put the intake exactly between the PSU and CPU cooler, while I put the exhaust as far back as it could go. I wanted to make sure that, as much as possible, I was drawing in fresh(er) air and exhausting warmer air.
@sfarsitulumi3 ай бұрын
This case is the smallest good case that could fit my 338mm GPU. I also use the intake fan above the CPU and it gives me about 3 degrees better temps. Pulling air from the back would exhaust hot air into the PSU which gets pretty hot by itself anyway. After changing my fan setup very many times, I settled on 3x intake on the bottom, 1x intake on the side, 1x intake above the CPU and 1x exhaust at the back. It's not perfect, but I believe it's the closest you can get.

Man, I think ASUS just did it better compared to the a3. Ventilated front, options for tempered glass or mesh by default, side cover for cable mess, and front IO routing being at the top instead of the bottom, and the case itself just looks nicer though that is just me. I agree that even though it is shorter than ATX case, it is very much not a compact case.
@ChillBuilds3 ай бұрын
I rarely hear people say they like the IO at the top. Is it because you prefer that look? For function, I prefer it at the bottom for when I plug in drives with short cables (like portable SSDs).

I just finished my build and the one thing i hate about this case is the power button and io ports are on the bottom, my case is on the floor not a desk, so you have to get on your knees to use the ports or power button. Stupid design, im coming from a nr200p , all the io is on the top, so much better. Other than that its a good case.

you can fit big 4090's in it depending on how you place your PSU. so yes

You did not explain why it's bad when A3 is compatible with many configuration. But then proceed to explain that Z20 is better because of a niche styling, so are you saying that A3 and APA201 is worst aesthetically? I don't really care which one you like, but if you are making a "tool" video for the viewers, maybe try to elaborate and let us choose which one we like. Instead of pushing what you like passive aggressively lmao. You can just tell us your subjective opinion, it's very justifiable to change what you personally like.
@ChillBuilds3 ай бұрын
Well, I never said most of the things you're complaining about, so maybe you were just listening to the video while concentrating on something else and misunderstood. I'd recommend watching again, if my opinion hasn't offended you too much to do so. Thank you for watching.
@Natsuxc743 ай бұрын
01:35 - 02:00 you said its problematic that it has many configurations but smashing vertical dimension with no benefit. Then you ramble about having inconsistent opinion - which imo is fine, and I want to listen why 02:14 - 02:30 But then u said it was objectively better, then proceed to say z20 found a niche.. then after that you just pointed out z20 has better mechanism, then proceed to show fan data. You literally forgot to explain why it's objectively better 😂 I know these are just your thoughts, but it's very confusing and it's hard to find your point on the actual A3.
@Natsuxc743 ай бұрын
@@ChillBuildsAlso I want to say this is just criticism, just wanted to point out that you may need some clarity on your points.. Whether you want to take it or not. I don't mean to pull you down, because I appreciate your cases building videos and want you to improve overall, you're doing good work.
@ChillBuilds3 ай бұрын
@@Natsuxc74 you should probably watch the video with the intention of understanding my point rather than with the goal of proving yours. For instance: I said that the A3 was more capable, more performant, and cheaper case than the Z20, which are objective measurements for why the A3 is a functionally superior case. You missed that, it seems. I said that the Z20 is popular, not better, or even more popular, because it found a niche in it's size and styling. "Finding a niche" means that it fits a narrow but desire-able category. Thank you for enjoying videos, but my channel is not for this kind of argument or derision, but it's about building pcs. I would appreciate it if you did not misrepresent what I said in the comments here, but obviously, as this channel grows, there will be more and more people doing that, so I'll just have to get used to it. If you're looking for tech KZbin drama, maybe other viewers can recommend some channels for you. In the future, I will try not to "push what I like passively aggressively" in the videos about my thoughts.

@@ChillBuilds No worries, I don't want to start a drama, and I'm sorry if it kinda steer that way. I was honestly just purely confused, not even trying to prove a point - the timestamps were where I found them confusing.
