From a country stand point I can't think of a single reason why you would pick china. Most people there are poor, the people cant breath in its main city because of air pollution, its running out of fresh water because the government wont do shit to clean up their pollution, and their media is HIGHLY censored. Japan on the other hand has a low crime rate, good schooling, is a first world country, and has some of the most healthy people in the world.
