I went with the Motorola Razr Plus and have had it since it dropped and it's held up really nicely it has the SD 8+ Gen1 but it runs the device really well great battery life great gaming performance and great Daily usage I almost pulled the trigger on the flip 5 but I'll wait for the 6 thanks for the video keep up the good work 👏

I bought mine at lauch. I've noticed that it's not folding as flat anymore when opened. The top half of the screen is tilted slightly towards me. It's still a very rigid hold though, at least.

That's a justified approach. First found myself on my phone less and getting less distracted on the ZF3 and that definitely has carried over.

Thanks for your great videos. A question, I set up the cover screen and I have extended lock on, when I close the phone it immediately goes to the minimal info screen. It appears to me that, when you close your phone the cover screen stays active. What am I doing wrong? It appears to say that with the extended lock option that pushing the start button, it is suppose to stay unlocked, but with my phone it still goes "locked". I have all the updates. My phone won't open whatever I'm doing actively. So if I'm on Chrome and I close my phoney chrome app won't open on my cover screen, mycover screen will turn off too. That being said if I do open Chrome from the cover screen, it'll open the page and all tabs I was using on the main screen

Any wireless charger will honestly work but no the phone can't double as a charger (like the ultras)

Some wireless chargers CAN do that - apparently - but they are pretty "dodgy" and I don't know of any from a reliable brand. Also wireless chargers are mostly to have set in place and not moving around, so it makes more sense for them to be plugged in rather than act like a powerbank/ be portable. That being said you're probably better off with a powerbank, faster charging, multi device charging, and portable.

Mine is problematic. It has a line of light down the center. I dropped it, and now the bottom half goes to black and if I put pressure on the bottom half, it goes back to light. I won't go this route again. I am going to go with something else.

I charge my S22 multiple times a day forthright past 2 years. Although the battery Samsung decided to put in the device isn't the greatest, it still hasn't really degraded much. I wish it had a better battery. I would love to get the flip, but the. battery seems to be terrible. I still might get it. The front screen is awesome. This channel is awesome. Keep up the good work!

Fold greater than flip IF portability doesn't matter. S24U greater than All if you're looking to keep it long term, camera really matters, and spen too. If not, then fold or flip will probably be the coolest experience you can have.

I'm planning to swap to a Flip 6 when those drop, from the 12 mini. I'm so over Apple and all their bullshit. I want a phone that works like an actual computer with a file system and no need for proprietary bullshit apps. Open source all the way. Need an android-based OS for all that. Whatever "ecosystem" apple has crafted is a crutch for people who don't know how to use technology. I'm done. I'm so tempted to pull the trigger on the Flip5, but gonna be patient and just be an early adopter/tester of the Flip6 and take any bad builds as they come. I'd rather get screwed on a bad new model than a bad old model. Easier to deal with the repairs.

I'm using the iphone 13 mini and I get all day battery from it. Charge it either wirelessly or with a wire. bought a small battery pack, just in case but I haven't needed it. Definitely like that it can ride around in a shirt pocket.

I have a s21ultra, don't get me wrong for me its a perfectly fine phone, I have it in a life proof case for work reasons and its just over a year old in my possession. I'm not one to replace a perfectly working phone, but its way too big in my pocket when I'm at the gym I cant keep it in my pocket for some workouts. I started considering this phone but despite it being out for over half a year ish no one has properly reviewed it in a long term manner like you did in this video. I figured the phone would last longer in its closed state but no one really disclosed that. iv noticed that display models at Tec stores have looser hinges. Has your hinge started becoming looser as of now? I'm asking because I intend to use this for 4 years and I worry the weight of a high defence case could add more ware in the long run.

I feel you on the portability 😂 the ultras are huge and in the summer it's harder to stash them somewhere. Hinges did become a bit inconsistent - not the smoothest closing action - but it's still very tight.

I have the same problem. I got s24 ultra at launch but now I’m considering changing to a zflip6. Ultra is a nice phone but not perfect! The camera is better but still sucks compared to the last models and i’m a little bit disappointed honestly. The battery life is so good and it charges super fast. I love the big screen bcuz i always edit and watch videos & movies on my phone. I also take pictures and videos a lot; but as you said putting this brick phone in my small pocket or purse is just a pain in the a$$. Z flip is not a win against ultra 24 but being foldable is so good 😩 I can’t decide.

Atm no major differences are reported it may just be some smoll upgrades to body/display/hinge although there have been much fewer incidents of damage reported on zf5 than any flip before. SOOO no major upgrades, BUT you will get 1 MORE year of updates and support on the new one vs the current one*

Used market is growing! Although I'd be very cautious and look into the return policy/included warranty of the retailer (many used phone retailers online also have extensive reviews) Amazon also offers refurbished devices.

I had a Z flip 4, (purchased used from FB marketplace -1st mistake 😅), and i irresponsibly dropped it causing the hinge to misalign. Then fixed it and it was a okay. A few months later it slipped from my back pocket as ai was walking and the entire bottom half was no longer working… i miss it dearly but I am NOT responsible enough to care for one yet 😢 Maybe by the Z flip 7 💔 (Also yes I did have a case with hinge protection)

If you put the games on priority mode, the heating dramatically lowers. I play Tower Of Fantasy on extreme graphics, and the heating went from 121° to 110°, and with a cooling fan its at 98°ish, i play for about 3+ hours at full charge. Also, there are actually a lot of secret things this phone can do that the ultra can't do that i figured out. 👀

I've had mine since launch, I have a thin case to protect against scratches with no drop protection. I haven't ever dropped a phone either My phone isn't misaligned, and the hinge is still solid.
