Chilli Garlic Chicken Recipe!
Boneless Chicken 500g (thighs) Cut into bite sized pieces
For Chicken Marination:
Salt 1/2 tsp
Black pepper 1/2 tsp
Soya sauce 1tsp
Egg white 1 large egg
Corn flour 4 tbsp
- Marinate the chicken with above ingredients for 30 minutes.
Sauce Mix:
Hot sauce 1 tbsp
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Tomato puree 4 tbsp
Soya sauce 2 tsp
Brown sugar 2 tsp
Corn flour 1 tbsp
Water 3-4 tbsp
- Mix all these sauces and set aside.
Other Ingredients:
Oil for frying
Oil 3 tbsp for sautéing
Garlic 4-5 cloves chopped (20g)
Spring onion whites 2 tbsp
Green chilies 3
Spring onion greens 3 tbsp
Process:
- Heat the oil in a wok and deep fry chicken for 3 to 4 mins each side at medium flame. Put it in a plate and set aside.
- Heat oil for sautéing , add chopped garlic and fry for 30 seconds.
- Then add the spring onion whites and green chillies. Fry for 1 to 2 minutes until garlic is light brown in colour.
- Now add the sauce mix and cook for 2 to 3 mins at low flame.
- Then add the fried chicken and spring onion greens and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes.
- Garnish with some spring onion greens and serve hot with boiled rice.
