I always grow Jalapeno, Serrano, and Trinidad Scorpions as they do well in our climate and I always buy something new, some grow and some don't. I do have a question my Trinidad Scorpion plant that didn't flower that well up until September and now I have more chilli's ripening now, from your experience what are hotter regular season or late season chilli's?

Thanks for the update, Sean, we live vicariously through you! Might be cool to see a pod-picking video, I bet it's super relaxing and it's always nice to see buckets upon buckets of pods (if taping/editing that's too much work, maybe a vid showing the buckets of the whole harvest after all the picking is done). Cheers!

@@RustamRungsung-hf4km seeds were started 11 months ago in January 2023. We had a really weird growing year. Cold spring, cool wet early summer going into a blazing hot and dry July and August. My super hot peppers didn’t set fruit until mid-September and are still going strong in my greenhouse.

I have overwintered a few in the past. And will overwinter a couple this year. But I don't really like doing that. Typically the produce in the second year isn't as tasty or even as spicy.

Thanks for another great vid. Amazing how long your plants are going on for. This has been my first year growing chilli peppers, and although I started late, I have had a good number of different varieties produce a reasonable amount. Now have some grow lights so next year I will be starting early. When would you recommend starting seeds? Thank you for all the videos throughout the year, I have learnt lots : )

Sure is nice seeing such an abundance of ripe and ripening pods after the middle of November Shaun! Dorset Naga, the plant that keeps on giving. I wonder what plants you may cross that with just to see an increase of pod production on larger plant varieties? May that mystery linger. Here as the season is over outdoors, trying to decide on what I may set up for some indoor pepper house plants to compliment those already growing. Meanwhile, Stay Spicy!! -Bob...
