homeostasis(warm blooded like mammals and birds) nearly 30-40 degree celcius.We have a lot of water in bodies which requires least amount of energy and least temperature of 39 degree to function properly. cold blooded(fishes, amphibians) animals temperature controlled by environment. If they are cold, there metabolism is slow. Humans have Catalase enzyme to remove hydrogen peroxide(produced in livers)harmful for body.

You will find that adults have more brown fat (brown adipose tissue) than you realize. Source of information, self experimentation, that is all I am gonna say.
