Hi Petr, your clips are always entertaining ! Have u ever done clips of the Chehalis or Stave ?

Not yet, maybe this summer. The Chehalis looks beautiful in videos I've seen.

It would be awesome if you were able to circle things in red when you edit to really show us what you want us to see. Sometimes there so much going on and there’s shadows and it’s dark. Just an idea 🤷🏻♂️

Thanks, my video editing skills do need to improve. Right now I don't even know how to do what you asked. Actually I've been giving a lot of thought lately to how to make things better on my channel. This particular video probably had 3 minutes of decent footage, but I had trouble getting it down to the 13 minute mark already. It's something I've always struggle dwith: how to get 90 minutes of footage down to a 5 minute video that tells a story.

Hows steelheading over there this time of year?
@petrhermanadventures95093 жыл бұрын
Most fish are spawning by now and the fishing is mediocre with only a few chromers left. Also the spring freshet has hit and the rivers are high and muddy.

Good video thnx, can I catch smth in may or June in Vedder?
@petrhermanadventures95093 жыл бұрын
for the month of May the Vedder is closed above the Vedder bridge. Below the bridge it's only open to fly fishing. The entire month of June the whole river is closed to all fishing.

I wonder what the cause of death was. Repetitive mishandling perhaps, or some sort of harmful material ingested. 🤔 I’ve seen some pretty gnarly objects coming from the belly of a steelhead

I didn't really want to make a "sensational" story out of it, but that fish has a round dark bruise right between the eyes. That always happens to my fish about an hour after I bonk them. My best guess: somebody poached it and then got scared for some reason and tossed it.

That is very frustrating to see. These so called “fisherman”, let me rephrase, poachers are so oblivious and uneducated to the damage they are inflicting on this fishery. It’s honestly very sad to see such a heinous act committed on these precious wild fish that are already endangered. There really is no excuse for this... very frustrating 😤
