THAT'S HOW COMEDY WAS BACK IN THE DAY, I MISS COMEDIANS LIKE ANDREW SCHULZ, BILL BURR, DAVE CHAPPELLE, PATRICE O' NEAL, RODNEY DANGERFIELD, BERNIE MAC, SAM KINISON. THERE SHOULD BE A RULE WHEN YOU COME INTO A COMEDY SHOW AND THAT IS "EXPECT TO HAVE A WTF MOMENT" IF NOT DON'T GO TO A COMEDY CLUB.

Yes and no Always expect a wtf moment, but don't always tolerate it. Some comics are hilarious yet not fit to argue back n forth with hecklers rationally and in a way that the audience will take their side. These men are great at this because they understand funny 100% of the time, not all comics are built like that unfortunately.

My dude, as a white dude, don't ever apologize for finding differences funny. As long as they're not thrown with hate or malice. Jokes are funny. Hate isn't. Hell, even when Eddie Murphy coined the "white" voice as a teenager(yes, there were earlier, but I'm only so old), I laughed my ass off, but couldn't understand why THAT was how "we" sounded. Then I really listened to people around me... Fuck! That's EXACTLY how some of us sound. I found it even funnier.
@JoeSmith-iv3sf4 жыл бұрын
Yeah this constant I gotta say something in context before laughing at funny has got to stop. It's gotten so old. Ppl are different, and ppl are funny reguardless. Just laugh and keep it moving!

Schulz is great, one of the best with crowdwork. You'll have to see his 30 minute crowdwork set he improved. Has to be one of the top comics not on Netflix everyone knows but still underrated if that makes sense. His podcast with Charlemagne, "Brilliant Idiots", can be good too. I think he gave that woman tickets to come back. I think it's okay to laugh hard. That energy can kill a room for the night and going straight at it was the only way to make it not awkward. And there's SPECIFIC white women that need called out, and the more people that speak up, the harder it is for them to dismiss it. They're certainly not going to take seriously what a white dude thinks if they're that SPECIFIC type
@DontTrustOurOpinion4 жыл бұрын
Yeah he did a great job getting the energy back in the room

I am a bit stoned and I legit sat here for 3 minutes trying to scratch that dirt off my monitor in the middle, getting increasingly more frustrated trying to figure out why I can't get it off, until I realized it's a black spot on your wall. And Schulz is awesome, he really doesn't care, has a great podcast too. And like you said about his improv game, it's especially those New York guys having had to deal with it so much, they're murderers when people try to heckle

When I had my first seizure, when I woke up the first thing I remember was someone asking me what’s your name. And I didn’t know what a name was. For about 30 minutes I knew some thing and some things I didn’t. It took about 45 minutes for my brain to start working at full capacity again, and then I felt fine.

I can't stand Karens. As a white woman, interfering, have to have a cause women annoy the shit out of me. And if one of them start crying and it's not over something devastating, I'm out. That shit is uncomfortable as fuck. My best friend pulled that crap when we went away for a weekend, in the hotel bloody lobby... one of the most embarrassing moments in my life. I cringed for her. I just slapped my hand down on her shoulder a couple of times and walked away. Freaked me out. But there's a reason she's my best friend: she found it funny as hell.
