Used to listen to this all the time back in 2016, and amazed with it. I tried to find it later on, but with no luck, as I couldn’t remember the name of the song, except that it had something to do with a path. Years later, I remembered that I had discovered this through a Watch Pony vid. So, I went searching. At last I found it, and am still amazed by the quality and storytelling in this piece.

+BioniclesaurKing4t2 I think it's simply about Vinyl needing inspiration and she's getting it by walking around taking in everything she sees, rather than specifically seeing/meeting another pony along the way. The musical references to other songs, like Art of the Dress, are most likely used because they're similarly songs about inspiration in my opinion, rather than as references specifically to say Rarity or Octavia.
