You know the future of folk music is alive and well, when a young girl out of Brooklyn, New York, has discovered the music and is playing so confidently and joyfully.

Unbelievable how good she is at such a tender age. And this video proves that people will “thumbs down” a video just to do it, for no good reason. Keep on aplayin’ young lady!

Us aging boomers who, as younguns, resurrected the old tunes during the 60's and 70's are thrilled to see young people take up the banjos and fiddles. Bravo Nora. You've got it. The music is in good hands.

Prodigious! Another Nora Brown gem. Hard to believe that Nora was 12/13 at this time. The battle to keep that hair out of the business of picking is an epic one.
