I can never decide if Nora Brown's playing makes me want to quit playing banjo or try harder.

Try harder bro you can achieve anything you want. Just have to want it bad enough to train for it

goddamn you already got the moody voice of an overworked old woman in the Appalachia, and i mean that in the best way. banjo 100% on point too. this is great

The tune is very similar to Married Girl - Single Girl. Nora, you have obviously worked very hard to develop your skill and knowledge. Pete, Clarence, Doc, Earl and all the other greats that have come before you are smiling down and tapping their feet! Best wishes for your continued success! 👏👏👏👏 New Subscriber.

Young Lady, you are a credit to your culture, to music, and to superb Banjo playing & singing. Thank you for this! I play a Gibson Mastertone 4-string, about a hundred or so years old (the banjo, not me, yet).

These videos are just so lovely - they warm my heart! Is there somewhere one can find out when & where Little Nora will be performing in public. I'm going to be in new York for a few days in April, and I sure would love to see her perform while I'm there.

Little Nora Amazing! I’m going to try to get there. I’ve been a banjo player for 5 decades now, and I’m so enormously impressed with Nora’s talent, skills, dedication and obvious hard work - and also with her superb singing. I’m finding that singing banjo players are becoming more and more rare these days - she gives me hope for the future of what I hope will not become a lost art. Is there some way we can communicate other than through comments on a video (I’m assuming you are Nora’s parent).
