She raised several valid issues of which the most serious I feel are the ones which has been brewing within our own Tibetan community and we've quite a few serious ones, without fixing these internal issues there's no way we can take on CHINA. We as a community needs to stop playing blind, deaf and dumb, open our eyes to the reality within our community and take strong measures to eradicate the real issues at hand.

As a Tibetan in my early twenties, I developed an immense longing to learn more about my nation, and Buddhism in general(I have studied what I can through his holiness’ teachings etc.). One thing that I think can help those in late high school youngsters(ages16-18) as well as older(20 and up) is by having weekly, if not monthly discussion(1-2 hours) led by various individual(s) using technology like Zoom or google hangout. Make it so anyone can join at anytime regardless of unforeseen circumstances in our daily lives which some has to endure more than others as the waves of karma hit us at different times. The nature of the discussion or meeting can be about world economics(scarcity) how it relates to the Tibetan cause, Tibetan buddhism and how we can apply it to our lives and greater society, current world events, history of our land, personal accounts of those who fled Tibet(aware of the interviews of the first generation of Tibetans fleeing Tibet on KZbin) which we can discuss and keep alive all of which I think can be one more thing that motivates us, help young people especially Tibetan youngsters who grow up abroad.

I think understanding her view itself is a big deal for us. Hope she will do something in near future too. At the same time, we also need to understand and do something on our own. Hope we all will do something for our tibetan cause. Thank u.

Oh tibetans that fled Tibet. The tibetans in tibet love the Dalai Lama, but they don't recognize the government in exile. Only rich tibetan families support the independence movement, and the number is small. Rich tibetans send their sons to india. The majority of tibetans in tibet see the exiled tibetans as nyotpa, who are preventing the Dalai Lama from returning to Tibet.
I don’t agree on this. Whether or not of good intention, as of now, we need support from any country as our language and culture is on brink of extinction. The tibetans were communicating in Chinese in the videos of youtube channel featuring Tibet by Jamyang which was pretty shocking.
