Chimera 7 Morning cruise

Todays flight was using a gnb 2200mah 6s pack. I think I was just short of a mile out so havn't joined the club yet ;) I'm still using old menace lhcp antenna so wary about pushing the range too far.
Loving the speed of this beast, it's the drone I'v always wanted :D

Good luck with the Chimera, I’m just starting to push mine out a bit further using Lithium ion packs and gaining confidence in the equipment, and hope to get up to the Lake District in summer hopefully.👍🏻

I see why you take that route, it has the best clearance for distance....

That's it, the space in the trees gives me a small signal window if I'm not too high and a fun gap at that speed.

Im using crossfire, I dont know the range but Iv heard easily a few miles on stock antenna. Im using Immersion duo Rx with normal antenna for video and was ok at mile, Iv ordered better antenna now and that should give it 3 miles plus easy.

@@ActionGeekUK ok thanks, yes agree either stock tbs nano or a diversity cant be bad..be good to know how your new antenna is, presume for 2-3km the stock vtx and antenna is fine..

@@danyel3901 Oh yeah il be using the stock vtx antenna and just upgrading my Rx to vas patch and lollypop. Hopefully will be testing tomorrow if the weather is good.
