Chimera 7 Mile out Club

So after testing RTH for the first time I set out to do a mile out and back. I've been flying FPV for over 5 years now and have been researching mid/long range for over a year so this is a pretty big moment for me. Cant wait to get out into some more interesting landscapes soon and ultimately up a mountain :D
This was also my first time using new Vas patch and lollypop, had a noticeably clearer image straight away ( I was using left handed menace patch and pop before) but got a bit of fuzz halfway out which made me circle in mild panic haha.

Taranis with Crossfire mini v2
Immersion duo Rx with Vas patch and lollypop
Fatshark Attitude V2s
GnB 2200mah 6s lipo

I'm currently visiting my wife's family and it's all fields around here. Did 2.5 miles before having to turn back! Will try to lower my camera angle to go further or remove the gopro.

That's awesome, was it battery power that made you turn back? And I may try some longer range flying at some point but right now I'm loving cruising at high speed :D

Yeah reached battery limit but I'm still full power on video and controller...
