On top of that a wolf bite won't inflict as much on a chimp then the chimp bite 100%. people see a chimp and think there bones are the same as ours and they are not. The chimp might have a marginally stronger bite force but the Wolf is a carnivore and they use their teeth for killing whereas the chimp is closer to vegetarian than carnivore. Strength is measure in grip strength for those with opposable thumbs average grip strength of an adult human is 44-72.6 lbs strongest ever recorded is 332 lbs and the guy was probably raided out. An adult chimpanzee is 440-730 lbs…enough force not to rip your arm off but to pull it out of socket and rip/tear multiple muscle groups. Wouldn’t take too many pulls for it to completely come off.

This is terrible, literally took nothing into account anything. 1. Chimps go to war against each other, so can develop a strategy. 2. Chimps have a higher brain power, which is better for coordination, attacks and many other things. 3. Wolves take down large pray yes but as a unit, which is impressive, but you also forgot wolves are easily scattered on an opponent looking to fight back. 4. Coordinated attack only works when your opponent isn't also going for the same form of attack. 5. Chimps also use weapons. 6. Wolfs aren’t pushing 180 in weight. You might get the extremely rare cases of them but I’m no Mountain weight lifter. If you ever go to the zoo or museum with taxidermy a timber wolf is only pushing 120. Not sure why everyone always high balls them like they’re massive compared to regular dogs. Their not. Our heaviest dogs are much larger than them.

Chimps are one of the most underestimated animals out there but are the most dangerous, and Wolves are over rated. 'Casual geographic' explains it a lot.

all animals have a "fighting style" or kung fu. Chimps that use it most for 'posturing', violent corrections, and only occasionally killing animals smaller than themselves, will ALWAYS lose to animals who primarily use their kung fu for killing animals much larger than themselves for survival. The strategy is much more on the wolves side as well. They are much MUCH faster, and have much more endurance. They will simply circle the troop and pick them off one by one. Chimps may be very strong and brutal, but they have no ability to work as a team like a wolf-pack does, and they have no defense in their kung fu against a wolf snatching him up by the throat before the chimp knows what happened.
