Watch what happens when former research chimp Kareem and his group mates are given a special enrichment activity of tubs filled with water and @MrBubbleBubbleBath suds! After nearly three decades spent in research labs, Kareem now lives at Project Chimps, a 236-acre sanctuary for former research chimpanzees, located in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Every day, Kareem and other chimpanzees roam the sanctuary's forested, 6-acre habitat and receive varied enrichment activities designed to keep them active and engaged, indoors and out.
You can make moments like this possible for former research chimpanzees by donating needed enrichment items from our Amazon Wish List or making a recurring donation in any amount at projectchimps.org
It's their time to live.
