Interesting how Marlin pronounces chimpanzee "shimpanzee" and that I never noticed this when I watched the show when I was a kid.

Loved watching this show as a kid back in the 70’s. Unlike the phony trash they have today.

I have loved this show since I was a kid. I could watch it just for the theme song alone! This has to be one of my favorite TV Theme songs. I get teary eyed when I hear it, cause it brings back so many great memories! ♥️

Glad to see better color on this episode. Several Wild Kingdom episodes are more Sepia, and the only color that stands out is red on those episodes.

And that is why the teacher always said you had to bring enough for the whole class. haha.Those male chimps were not happy. I always used to wait for this show and Wild America with Marty Stouffer when I was little. They were the shows that made me love nature shows to this day. Thanks for taking us back!

Met Mr perkins at stl zoo late 60s ,were there seen him in golf cart driving around, he said hello to our family and said have a nice time
