Chimps Love Boxes

Cats love boxes. Kids love boxes. Chimps love boxes, too! All our larger delivery boxes are offered to the chimps as short-lived enrichment items. The more you send from our wish list, the more boxes they have - our local appliance and furniture stores provide us with even larger boxes too!

Just like a toddler on Christmas morning, if there's a good size box, they like climbing in and out, or hiding in it, if it's big enough then they pretend it's a car. Kids will be kids!

I understand. Evil destruction and chaos dont belong in nature. Nature means order and harmony even when it's violent sometimes. But there are many good humans out there too I watch those who do good and it gives me hope.

How cute, they seem to really enjoy all the boxes they are given♥️ And it’s fun to see what each chimp does with it, they’re just like little kids with a new toy & nice to see them invent new games to play with the boxes. You guys do an amazing job taking care of them & the enrichment you come up with is pretty cool too. All these beautiful beings are so lucky to call Project Chimps home, great job everyone!😊 Amy, Kareem & Leo are too funny especially Leo playing peek a boo: “oh hi, I see you”😂❤️ Such a sweet boy🥰

Imagine a group of people being released by primates from cages where they were locked up. It's despicable to lock these emotional creatures in cages. What's more dishonorable than that is to think it's a blessing to put them in larger cages
