tacks are one of the more versatile and one of the most fun towers to use. bottom path has solid dps all around and is strong against Moabs. middle path has a really strong ability that's used commonly in races and top path dominates moabs early for a cheap cost and absolutely DESTROYS DDT's and ceramics

@@maudley Using Gwen with top path tack shooter is a really good chimps strat on many maps. Just 4 tier with gwen and village buff will take you very far

Thanks for showing off various strategies and things. Today was the first time I managed to ascend the monkey ace to paragon and get a full Tier 5 Monkey God Temple, and a lot of that was by learning about various early, mid and late game strategies and points where certain things are necessary. As well as farming.

I think actually using the UCAV ability at level 20 upgrades it from explosive damage to normal type damage, meaning it hits DDTs

520 tack: extra pierce to the meteor and the normal attack and extra range 502 tack: extra damage usually 502 is better unless you need that extra range.

I'd Say middle path is better for I-ring, it give's +2 pierce to the meteor from 1 pierce, and the extra range is weirdly good for the base fire attack. also, you want it set on strong

Interesting. Does anything else, maybe top path village, add pierce to that? How does bottom crosspath affect the meteor's damage? Edit: did some testing. Damage bumps it up from 750 to 1050. Wiki says range only adds 1 pierce, but testing tells otherwise I think. When pierce capped, damage meteor does 1500 while range does 2400. Both seem to have a 50 DoT effect that has 10 pierce, I suppose on the meteor dissipating. The two damage from damage path likely matter less for IR than RoF since it already does 8 to bloons and 12 to moabs. So yeah, I'm swayed. Still gotta test buffs. Edit again: oh wow, with full top path village it puts damage of the meteor when pierce capped at 6600 for damage and 6750 for range. Didn't check if it affected DoT, but it's much closer than permabrew for an even spread of damage. Buffing this tower makes it a monster though.

You should place tack shooters directly below the track, not above. Because of the orientation of towers' 3D models, tacks will be firing from directly on the track if you place them this way, guaranteed hit on bloons passing by.

If i remember correctly 5xx is 0 pierce 5x2 does more damage (50%?) 520 has 1 more pierce per upgrade And moab class consume more pierce? So it can hit only 2 zomg/ddt for example But more bloons And x5x has one of fastest ability cooldowns with 50% uptime. Means it's quite reliable compared to other abilities
