Dark brown indians should not upset if China will build dam in Tibet. The said dam is in China territory. China not invading Indian territory and build dam there. That's the difference.

I don't think India should concern this. Because glaciers are melting. This dam is inevitable there. It would be good thing for us.

@realMNorganic There would be no glaciers in Chinese part of Himalayas in near future. This large dam is to cap the need of their people . For us this dam is inevitable. We need a better communication with chinese. They are not being offended in exchanging data related water flow in history even though we had stranded relations with them. Brahmaputra is very dangerous river than indus and ganga. So dam is needed to control it. The concerns regarding this project is dam safety. Rather than that this dam is good for us.

Due to unilateral withdrawal of waters by the co-riperian India, the flow of the river Teesta in 🇧🇩 has been reduced to a canal! The mighty Padma looks like desert all around during winter & there’s nothing but sand. Bangladesh loses 10 billion annually thanks to the barrages on almost all the rivers it shares with India

People have no idea how much electricity power it will produce. The whole Bangladesh power used in 2024 is 17200 mega watts. This dam will produce 300 billion kilowatts, equals to 300 million megawatts. One year electricity can provide the whole Bangladeshi using for 1744 years.

They say whoever controls Tibet's water tower controls Asia. You can buy anything, use oil and gas to temporarily boost the economy, but at some point it will no longer be in demand, but water is irreplaceable, it is the most valuable commodity in the world. That is why the Thais call Tibet the Holy Land in their ancient scriptures, not because of Buddha dharma or spirituality. So be aware, the water is shared with everyone without paying a penny.

China is making world’s biggest dam and will invest 137 billion USD. Steel required for this dam will be around Rs.1,75,000 crores minimum. So expect Steel demand to shoot up in next 2-3 years. Very good news for Tata Steel and SAIL. Moreover India will put anti dumping duty on Chinese steel.
