Cohen seems untouchable as a soloist here, but shredding on the piano while maintaining a stride ostinato is so freaking hard because your mental bandwidth is necessarily divided. Props to Nimmer. Coming back to Cohen, you can't help but smile listening to her. Just look at the guitarist -- James Chirillo has heard (and comped for) plenty of great solos in his time, but he can't stop grinning. Love that.

Annette is one of the greatest female musicians ever I love her stuff on saxophone and clarinet she is something else and this is a great version of one of my favorite songs china boy ever she can really play with the best of them and swing just as good and Heart is the best of them I could listen to Annette Cohen all day and never get tired of it.
