It is a dpa4099 and actually wired (not much space to run around in :)). I have had them for years (since the big productions in Sweden) but just now experimenting with using them in the live show. The really good thing is that there are fewer microphone stands to trip over (the wire is thin and will not trip you - it will break first). However when it comes to the microphone I have found that as long as the microphone can take the spl without breaking up the actual model is the least important aspect so find something affordable and easy to fit and it is probably ok.
