"Hong Kong free press"? Lol You sound like a Yankee talking. For an example of "free press", lookup what happened to Ukraine president in 2014. Cia funded 3 new media channels on Nov 20 21 and 22 of 2013 on Ukraine TV blasting the democratically elected Ukrainian president. He had to fled to Russia because of protests. Then cia put in puppets ever since

Yeah, but they don't have scores of "internet millionaires," who produce nothing, ship nothing, do nothing, offer no kind of services, etc. The USA is so great, you don't even have to work, in order to be "successful." All you have to do is "plug into the system," and collect your "passive income." Obviously, I'm joking. But, isn't it great that the bourgeois class repeatedly tells us (even in their BS ads on KZbin) that they don't work. Their income is "passive."

US GDP has quite a bit of "unproductive Walk Street fluff" in it.
@asw654
@asw654 Жыл бұрын
They have had that for years. They have the largest GDP by PPP. Once they got that, immediately American media started focusing only on nominal GDP with no more fearmongering about GDP by PPP. Rather focusing on the fact that US still led economically on some metric while still providing some pressure/fear on its own people. The thing is, nominal GDP matters much more when there's actually trade between the US and China, but if US is trying to cut off China such that there's more of a bipolar world with less interaction between the two, then GDP by PPP starts mattering more as Chinese start buying their own products rather than buying American products. And Americans are forced to buy their own expensive goods and services than affordable Chinese goods and services. This obviously makes PPP more relevant, and by that metric, China already has a larger economy.

I last travelled to South America 2011-2012.. I went to Venezuela when Chavez was in power.. everything was fine in Venezuela. In 2018-19 I went back to South America, after all the sanctions against Venezuela... now every other South American country has tons of Venezuelan immigrants & everything in Venezuela is going to hell. America would have people believe its Maduro's fault. It is 100% the fault of America's illegal sanctions.

I find the propaganda spending in the US to keep people ignorant is really aggressive and profound. When I went to school there in 05-9 I was amazed and exhausted at the ignorance. I went there a communist 15 year old, confident and sure if my world view, and left feeling completely defeated as a person. I finished high school but developed an anxiety issue and insomnia and went to college to double major English and poisc, but dropped out in my second year because of my mental health. I think I just got tired of inhabiting a completely different world than my peers and teachers. I would never and could never exist inside their insulated bubble. And I knew when I did return home, I couldn’t come back a traitor. Now the year is 2023. My home has been psyoped into a similar level of intellectual devastation and I just don’t know how to socialize anymore.

ALMIGHTY GOD KABIR---🙏 Who is complete God? Iyov 36:5 - Orthodox Jewish Bible (OJB) See, El is Kabir, and despiseth, not any; He is Kabir in ko’ach lev (strength of understanding). Translation: Supreme God is Kabir, but despises no one. He is Kabir, and firm in his purpose. In all Bible translations, the word Kabir has been translated as "Mighty" or "Great" whereas Kabir is the original name of Supreme God. Conclusion: This verse of the Bible proves that Kabir is Complete God. The one who worships God Kabir by taking initiation from the complete saint sent by him gets complete salvation. After attaining salvation that souls rest in peace in the eternal abode Satlok forever. The throne of God is in Satlok. God Kabir met Jesus and took his soul to Satlok. On their way, God Kabir made him see his ancestors David, Moses, Abraham, etc. in the Pitra Lokas. Then God took him to Satlok😊😊

Chinese oil companies are now among the world's biggest so China will have resources to rescue Venezuela from US illegal sanctions. There are lots of ways China could help Venezuela.

One thing people normally do not talk about regarding carbon emission per capita. China has 1.4 billion and thus, even though in terms of gross carbon emisson China ranks number 1, in per capita terms China is much lower than that of the US. And one should also remember one thing: China is also the number 1 manufacturer country of the world. Industrial productions involve a lot of energy. And the finished products are being transported to all over the world. Therefore, considerable energy used in industrial production, recorded in China, but basically originated in the demands overseas, certain proportion of China's carbon emission originates from overseas rather than domestic energy consumption. One may argue that this logic applies to other countries too. True, but China is the no.1 trading partner of 140+ countries around the world, it is fair to suggest that for China, the actual carbon emisson both in gross and per capita terms should even be lower than the recorded figures.
@Lyra0966

Very good point. The West claims it is responsible for fewer emissions only because it effectively exports it emissions by relying on foreign produced goods.

China produces twice amount of electricity of the US. However since China has 4 times more population than US so every Chinese consumes only half the electricity an American consumes. In the world's per capita electricity consumption US ranks 10th in the world with 12,154 KWh/per year/person. China ranks 47th with 5,885 KWh/year/person. Globally the available electricity if equally shared each can have 3,081 KWh/year/person.

Put it this way . If all the products had not been effectively produced in China by volume , imagine how much more carbon usage would be if it had been producted in different countries for all types of products. If so , by now climate change is beyond redemption by today. China is actually saving the world because of mass production that reduces carbon print .

Excellent information Ben, the US green policy doesn't have anything to do with planting trees, they want everyone to stop using oil except them, while they are speaking about reducing oil and gas consumption they are looking for more drilling and extraction, the US green policy is mercantile, it is to benefit the US electric car industry whose corporations sell at exorbitant prices because their competitors are sanctioned, the US green policy is also a weapon, used to control and avoid powerful economies to surpass the US economy, and the US green policy has to do with ethnic cleansing, because for the selected golden billion the rest of the population is taking away their resources and for them people is to blame for climate change.

31 comprehensive agreements between China and Venezuela will tighten their relationship. What the usa has done to Venezuela and imposing the sanctions against her people are beyond decency and humanity. The multipolar world order will win against the unipolar world order led by the usa as the time of the usa mingling with internal policy of any country and imposing people with inhumane sanctions is over. China will help Venezuela with its economy in a win-win approach to reach a prosper shared future.

The Americans 'helping' Vietnam, and China 'helping' Venezuela. It has been a win for developing countries thus far, but it's bringing the world closer to the edge.

Well I am a China supporter, but I spoke to a Vietnamese woman and she said some really bad stuff about China. I will keep monitoring. Mostly about Chinese crossing the border and getting girls from Vietnamese villages for marriage, but instead promising them jobs and not revealing the whole truth.

The absurdity of the US helping Vietnam is that many Americans hate the 'Communists' and yet they are helping the Communist Vietnam. Americans are BIG HYPOCRITES.

Thank you Ben for a comprehensive video of China and Venezuela's recent meeting in China. This is a win win for both countries and there will be countries that will not be happy. But then who gives a F of those countries that are not happy. 😂😂

Excellent overview, Ben! Because of the multipolar world about to push out US Imperialism, the forever wars, coups, sanctions and other means of destabilization of those that don't comply, the downfall of the petro dollar, etc, both countries are smart to build up their relationships so as to be prepared for the upheaval that is coming. Other countries in South Am would be wise to also get in on the action, sooner rather than later. Sadly, the far-right, fascist, neoliberal forces are still strong in some major countries: Argentina's potential new president Javier Milei who would pull Argentina away from the BRICS, Chile's move further right under the weak center-left President Boric, the right wing having become stronger and taking over the rewriting of the new constitution, and pushing Pinochetism during the 9/11/73 anniversary of the coup, to name a few. I can only hope that all of the South will move sooner rather then later to partner more with China and other countries so that their people can be brought out of poverty, disenfranchisement, and inequality much sooner.
