China Furniture and Arts has been creating authentic rosewood furniture for over 50 years. Though modern technology has made furniture crafting easier, we remain true to traditional techniques that date back to the Ming Dynasty in China. From raw materials to finished products, we strive for excellence in every step of the process.
China Furniture and Arts, based out of Chicago, but with roots in the carpentry of Shanghai, is a premier provider of Asian home decor. We have a large variety of selections. This is the level of mastery that used to be expected of a Cabinet maker not too long ago.. (since my grandfather's era.) Nothing we are offered now compares to this level of beauty.

Rosewood is scarce here in North America since South American ban was enacted on its export . Guitar sides and backs were popular a while ago 70s and 80s but now mahogany is used instead in many cases Martin guitars for one still acquire it and offer it in their higher priced guitars and that rosewood mostly from India and commands a top price . Enjoyed the craftsmanship involved in the video . Thank you.

Beautiful! I love the commitment to quality and detailed workmanship you've shared with us... I wish we could know how other companies measure up to yours... unless having pieces custom made (and who could afford that!?!), my guess is that there no longer exists amongst most manufacturers the same commitment to quality... here in America, at times, it appears as if quantity seems to be more important than quality..
