I am a South African man who has lived in the Middle East, United States as well as China. In my personal experience China has by far been the most amazing place I have ever been to. No western media propaganda can remotely begin to influence what I have seen here. Stunning country in almost every sense of the word.

@@zackk7175 In the United States, if you pick any school shooting, there are far more than 4 people killed or injured. Fortunately, most of them are American teachers and students, and few are foreigners! This is all done by your American government. Also, do you want to continue discussing American drugs? Go back to your free land. I heard that in the United States, you don’t need to pay for things you buy in any store, you can just take them home, and life is so happy, but I am not interested at all! I live in the state of Georgia here in the USA. The powerlines for electricity for much of the city of Savannah are on my property. For almost 20 years I've tried to get the power line crossing my property either buried or insulated. I lost 3 trees the last time Georgia Power trimmed my trees to protect their power lines. The powerlines are not high enough to be above the trees nor do they stay on the easement allotted for that purpose. When i first moved here in 1994 the lowest line was for cable vision and it was only 8 feet and 3 inches above the ground. After much complaining they did raise the cable vison up higher. Every 3-4 years they come through my yard and butcher my trees. It's awful and seems impossible to get satisfaction through Ga. Power. How very fortunate you are to live in a place that preserves the beauty of nature.

We can blame the "great Thomas Edison" for our power lines being placed on poles. At the time when the electricity grid was being planned and there were those who proposed burying the power cables underground, Edison used his showmanship to convince the city fathers that stringing electrical cables in the air was "safer" and cheaper.

I have been in Savannah many times, love it! The town has near 300 year history, the oldest Building was build in 1750s there are old buildings Of 1790s in downtown still functioning well. In Hangzhou so called “old buildings” are rebuilt later Because they were destroyed by war or by culture revolution Only left some tower or bridges are real “old”. I hear a New culture revolution is in Chiina now!

I'm an Aussie, and I've been to Hangzhou. I saw this amazing West Lake show call "Impressions". The dancers and performers where literally walking and dancing on water (there is an elevated clear plastic platform that rises, just under the surface of the lake during performance time. It was spectacular, especially the scenes where the dancers where synchronising the splashing and kicking of the water.

Well sure, I agree that people born here are natives, but you have to understand how rotten our ancestors treated them. They lied and killed and used them and drove them away. There were tribes that were nearly killed off entirely, and the survivors struggled to find a new home because each tribe has a different language. The fact that we're forcing them to live in this weird time bubble of no electricity or clean water is heinous on its own

Impressive! China is ultra advanced. This channel is a good way to showcase China's own strengths. I also hope that the PRC watchers of this channel understand that there is no need to compare with others to make others feel inferior. This does not help China's international image at all. An ancient culture like China's must be magnanimous enough to overlook the past and work towards a brighter future for all in this world, not just her allies (if others want to insult China, ignore them because such people will not be respected and in fact, this is how it damages one's credibility and image). This is how China will win more friends and respect in this world in the long term and get more nations to help build a multilateral world. I lived China from 2001-2005 for a work assignment. I saw the entire spectrum of extreme industrial pollution on land, lakes and shores. I also so saw some of the most amazing buildings going up all over the country. Looking back, I was watching a country rising in real time and still rising. I am going back in summer of 2025 for a 3 month work assignment. In other vlogs, I saw Westerners working hand-in-hand with Chinese environmental agencies working to clean-up to address the environmental challenges facing China. Give the Chinese government credit. If they want to fix a problem, they will fix it.

Сhina is very beautiful, especially in terms of the amount and quality of greenery. I lived the majority of my life in Moscow, and Moscow is pretty green. Yet when I saw chinese cities my jaw dropped to the floor. Not only its the sheer volume but also the level of care, everything is neatly trimmed, topiary etc. There's a channel on youtube where they film driving through chinese cities and among other things they have a vid of the trip between cities, and alongside nearly the entire length of the road, about 300km, the separation barrier was covered in trimmed greenery. It truly blew my mind. With all due respect to european and american cities, it's laughable that when you google 'greenest city in the world', it returns 'Viena', 'Oslo' etc.
