India basically pushed Pakistan and China to immediately deepen their already 70 years old excellent relationship with each other by changing the status quo in August 2019 on Kashmir and Laddakh. Prior to that, Pakistan was content with just buying Chinese weapons and comparatively smaller investment and engagement in the country from China. With relationship with America in complete decline, Pakistan had good relationships with just one powerful nation, China, instead of creating rift and weakening that relationship, Indian strategists basically decided to super charge it.

Mr Pravin, it is very easy. All India has to do is to swear off its expansionist policy it has adopted since 1947 and behave itself with its neighbors. Relinquishing Kashmir will be in India’s interest as the population does not want Indian occupation . Pakistan will never relinquish Kashmir, not just because of deep ties of history, faith and destiny, but for the simple reason of survival. It will not allow India to control its water sources and commit suicide. For Pakistan it is already an existential matter and so a nuclear conflict is possible. The wisest course for India is to swear off its mythological Hindutva madness and join the neighborhood as a good neighbor and relinquish the state of Jammu and Kashmir. It could then be provided land route access to central Asia, Iran and beyond. It is India’s choice now.

The Nagas, Manipuris, Sikkimese, South Tibetans all abhor being ruled by the Indians. India annexed Manipur and Nagaland in 1949, South Tibet in 1951 and Sikkim in 1975. Mr. Pravin Sahney, like Ms. Arundhati Roy is the lonely sane and sagacious voice in the desert of sagacity, multilaterism and inter-faith harmony, called INDIA. Indians have become arrogant , selfish, and hyper nationalist under the BJP and Modi's rule. Wooed by the West to act as a hopeless bulwark against a rising China as a super power, India has been suckered into combating its powerful neighbor. Modi has taken India down a slippery slope from which India may not be able to crawl back. As pleaded by Mr. Sahney, India should amicably settle border issues with its neighbors and stop creating human rights violations with its efforts to suppress minorities.

It always surprises me why Indians keep occupying Kashmir for ego. They basically forced Pakistan into an alliance with their own rival (China), and for what? The Kashmiris hate India, and they're justified in that given the war crimes. If Indians would have just handed IOK over to Pakistan and signed a treaty, the two countries could have had excellent ties and China wouldn't be a threat to the Indians. It's not too late if they come to their senses, otherwise war is inevitable. And India is in no position to fight a two-front war, it never will be. If they think America, Russia, France or Israel will come and fight for them, then they're delusional.
