I got to the unit early that morning and my platoon sergeant was showing me around the unit…then they called an emergency formation and they told us what happened and that we were deploying in 72hrs. I didn’t even get my room assignment yet. That was my first day on the job. But God bless America. We’re not perfect, but having traveled the world, no other country is either.

Yup. I was on c95 at the time. Hes right. What happened was when BG walked out the crips were ready, not sure why they didn't just rush him in his cell. The crips said "why you got your shoes on slob?" Right then he said "oh I didnt notice" and he crouched down like he was going to take off his shoes. Right then Mac runs up and leap frogs over BG and crashes into the first crip with a flying knee. Knocked him out cold. BG leapt hp, throwing a mean upper cut when he did it. The upper cut sent the guy up crashing through the roof like. A cartoon. Do thats 2 of the 7 are down. Mac threw a spinning kick at 3 of them approaching, knocking them all out. Now it's 1 on 1 Mac vs some HUGE crip, BG fighting a super crazy crip with mega super duper hands. And they both had knives. So as they fought mac slipped the knife, kicked out the crips leg and caused him to land on his own knife, taking him out. BG had started losing his fight the crip he was fighting, who also had TWO knives. Anyone who wold get close to this guy would SURELY get stabbed. Luckily right then, the first crip BG hit came crashing back down through down through the roof. Mac kicked him into the final crip. Causing one knive to kill the crip the kicked into him. The other stabbed the crip holding the knife. Killing him instantly. Since he stabbed himself however Mac and B BG could not be charged. They were both that moved till when for not only Bloods but Asians as well they proceeded to run the prison from there.

My grandmother asked him if he was okay, he just turned away. She reminded him that he can always turn to prayer. He ignored she said. So we didn't see him on Sunday. We just assumed that he went out partying with some of his friends and got wasted and would return after work on Monday. (He was 23 and workes hard and partied harder, as deserved). But to out surprise, we found out through the newspaper on Monday morning. My mom almost passed out. From the shock. Yes this was pre smart phone and mass cellphone era in the Caribbean, so news didn't travel fast. Turns out he jumped Sunday evening. Autopsy said he had high levels of alcohol in his system. The cleaning lady in the room he jumped from, said he didn't even hesitate. He just walked in the room and jumped straight off the balcony. Like he was determined. Funny thing is the night after his funeral, we all woke up screaming about seconds after each other. Then the toilet flushed on it's own in the distance. We didn't pay no attention to until we realized that everyone was in the living room. I remember laying on my bed, face up, wasn't sure if I was asleep but he was at my side all the sudden, then he told me to not worry as he's gone to a better place. He stood up and disappeared. I tried to scream like with one of those sleep paralysis situations but couldn't, untill I finally did. Then we all woke up screaming. My sisters all said they had the same exact dream. I shit you not. On my mom I get goosebumps just typing tgis shit. At the funeral, I couldn't bring myself to go see his body in the casket. When I finally did, his entire face and body was deformed. He was 6'3" alive, he shrunk to 5'4" in death due to all the broken bones. He jumped off of a 18 story hotel here. Landed face first on the casino roof. My mom had to identify the body. Was a dark time. And yes if you're wondering it was female related. Turns out after 3 months, his baby momma called the house, turns out she fled to the Netherlands with his son, without telling him. She didn't even know he passed until that day when my step father informed her on the matter. Then and only then she felt sorry. Guess her remorse was too late. I never forget that time. First time I had to deal with a death at such a close range in the family. I was only 13. 😔

man i got something in common with china mac! he was in prison on 9/11, i was in, ISS, which is basically prison inside school during 9/11. its crazy cause all the other classrooms were watching the news and leaving early, we were stuck in a quite classroom with no access to the outside world all day! teachers told us 1 time that there had been an attack on the world trade centers and that was literally it. all day kids are being pulled out of school early, dozens and dozens getting called to the office over intercoms. and we are just sitting in this isolated classroom like tf is going on out there?
